Dr. Monica Ruth Meyer, MD

Dr Meyer is an exceptional Dr/person. She is thorough and dedicated. She takes time to get to know her patients, their families and the dynamics of the family and situation. My son, who can be very hard to get to Loves her! She discusses meds thoroughly and educates both the patients and parents. Changes are made cautiously. Denise, who runs her office has also been very helpful. We are eternally grateful for having them both be so supportive. It was a long wait to get in, but well worth it!

We have been seeing Dr. Meyer for nearly 7 years now. She is a truly loving, caring and talented developmental behavioral pediatrician. She spends a lot of time getting to know her patients and their families and has been extremely thoughtful and thorough in her evaluation and monitoring of our challenging, nuanced, smart son. Dr. Meyer is also very supportive of families and considers every member of the family in her assessment and understanding of the patient. I am forever thankful to have her in my son's life.. she has made a big difference in his life and has been wonderfully supportive in mine as his mom!

Dr. Monica Meyer is a wonderful caretaker and a knowledgeable doctor.The staff at her Woodstock NY office is by far the worst group of unprofessional and rude people, I have ever had the horror to come across. It starts with the monotone uncaring voice that answers the phone to the office staff that are so uninformed they are not even aware of the policies that are in place as them being participating providers. I have been on hold for 7 minuet wait times for a simple responce, and when requesting a call back never called or responded too. They are rude when speaking with patients and so uninformed as actually tell me they would call the doctor to ask about office policies.It is so unfortunate to have such a wonderful Doctor behind such a awful offence of rude individuals.

Dr. Meyer has taken the time to address necessary issues with our family, and it is obvious she is doing something she truly loves. While continuous report writing may not be her strength (based on previous review), I am very pleased to have someone so knowledgeable following my children and monitoring their needs for us.

No report after one year (She is working on it..Yea, right!)She won't forget to send you and your insurance a bill, but won't send an accurate report.We received a paragraph that the nurse admitted to typing up for us last year. Not a complete report. Then, we went for a second opinion and guess what? She was wrong!!!!!
