My appointment was for 3:30pm and long story short I left without being seen 3 hours later. This doctor didn’t call me in until 1 hour after my appointment. Then she dialated my eyes and never came back. Finally I left at 6:15 without the doctor seeing me. Horrible service and no consideration for the patients. I missed 3 hours of work for this. Never again.

Despite a severe case of myopia and the fact that I delayed surgery as many years as possible, Dr. Monica Patel (Jackson Heights) hit a bullseye with her cataract procedure on both my eyes. She ensured she had the best possible data to procede by insisting that in addition to the measurements she had taken that I go to two additional facilities for further testing. The thoroughness of her evaluations was evident in every visit to her well equiped office. I would wholeheartedly recommend her as opthamologist to anyone.

Dr. Patel was thorough in both her explanations and in her examination of my eyes. She was patient in her manner and gave full description of my eye condition. I recommend Dr. Patel. Her office staff is pleasant and organized as well.

I've seen many eye doctors for my issues. Dr. Patel took the time to explain all my treatment options, did thorough evaluation and stayed after hours. She is extremely knowledgable, kind and patient.

She is very thorough
