Great experience

I really liked meeting with Dr. Monica Reid. I was nervous about my visit and possible diagnosis with PCOS but she explained everything really well and made sure that I understood. She explained everything she was going to do and then again while she was doing it to help ease my mind. She listens well and has a great bedside manner. I really enjoyed this visit and felt comfortable and safe here. Her MA was also kind and listened well. They both introduced themselves and practiced hand hygiene multiple times during my appointment. Zero complaints. 10/10

Dr. Reid is an amazing OB/GYN. She actually listens to my concerns and is responsive to them. I wish I could say the same about my other health care practitioners.

I love Dr. Monica Reid. She was my OB for my first pregnancy, and I hope to continue receiving care from her. She always listens to my concerns and addresses any questions or worries I have. She takes time with her patients and never seems rushed.

I had a great experience. The provider listened to every concern I had, and answered all my questions.

I saw Dr. Reid for my second pregnancy, which resulted in a successful VBAC. At each visit, I had about a million questions. Dr. Reid was happy to answer all of them objectively and backed up her answers with references to current research. She started asking me questions about what kind of delivery I wanted, under what circumstances would I change my birth plan, etc. at the first appointment and continued the discussions until I had made a final decision. She was also supportive of my active lifestyle throughout the pregnancy. During the labor process, she stayed on-site despite being on call the night before. She even came and let me know when she was going to get lunch. I was very pleased with her personalized care.

I had my first visit with Dr Reid last week after SIX of my friends recommended her. She is very sweet, has a large office and I was treated wonderfully by the whole staff including the lab downstairs. I am a high risk OB patient looking to have my second child, I had been discouraged by my previous OBGYN but Dr Reid was very caring and went over all the risks and will support me in whatever decision I make. I was also excited to learn she does VBACs!

Dr Reid was my ob for my first and only child. She was great! She was knowledgeable, caring and always available. I went to every appointment with a list of questions and she went through each one with me. More than once I had to call her or her nurse Shari and they quickly responded to me. OU also has an overnight nurse line so you can get help/advice 24/7. Lastly, I had no issues with appointments. They schedule your next visit before you leave and if you have an emergency, they will schedule you with the first doctor available (everyone I met was great).

I came to my appt about 20 minutes early and wasn't seen until about 30 mins after my scheduled appt. When asked about my pregnancy symptoms I revealed the nausea/dizziness and was nonchalantly written off as normal symptom and told to take vitamins to cure it. I work everyday and the vitamins didn't always help. I also called in about some jaw pain I was having and was told by the nurse the doctor had never heard of jaw pain as a pregnancy side effect and the dr did not have tools to look in my mouth only "down there". I told the nurse I had seen my dentist who would not treat me until my OB okay'd a cleaning, which the nurse told me this Dr "doesn't do that". So here I am with lockjaw unable to eat and being told it's no big deal. No my baby doesn't want food and a stress free environment, silly me. A simple google search will reveal women that do experience jaw pain after getting pregnant are told by their dr's its because of hormones and it should go away and to try tylenol if that… doesn't work they are given pain relievers to use sparingly. This dr would not even hear me out, I've cancelled my appt and am going to another dr. I just can't imagine going into labor and being told to "take some tylenol" and if that doesn't work, theres nothing that can be done.
