Very disappointed with the entire process. Office staff not good, no follow up and really did not care. The entire IU Health was a less than stellar experience. Will never go back.

She never consulted with me after the procedure. She did not send a summary to my primary care physician. Office help was not responsive in my post communications, their stories changed as events evolved. Overall grade F. Very poor experience.

Sweetest most caring woman and doctor

Dr. Fischer found my tumor during my colonoscopy and immediately went into action and walked me through what would happen next. She arranged appts. for me with a top surgeon and recommeded an awesome oncologist. She has stayed updated on my journey and it is evident that she truly cares.

Dr. Fischer helped me in so many ways. I had been sick for three years before I saw doctor Fischer. No one was able to help me or diagnose me until she did. I was passed around to just about every department. I went to see her as a last ditch effort. I had seen two other GI before I was able to get in and see her. She did everything she could to help me. She scheduled me in for a colonoscopy the morning after my first appointment due to my symptoms pointing towards crohns disease. She was right about it being crohns and she work with me on getting my medications correct. I was in remission within a year of becoming her patient. I have stayed in remission for the most part of the 5 years I have been with her. She really changed my life for the better.

Very thourough, respectful, and informed. At our first meeting she gave me choices on meds for my Crohn's, and after explaining my options one-on-one she also sent me home with pamphlets, and instructions to email her once I had decided the course of treatment I thought would best suit me. I appreciate her making me s part of to decision making process.

Had a colon procedure with Dr. Fischer and was very pleased with her bedside manner and she was very kind and professional. I was very happy I picked her in my network of insurance.

Dr. Fischer can be hard to get in to because her clinic is so booked, but she has been an excellent physician treating my ulcerative colitis. She is always cheerful, knows the lastest studies and clinical trials in the field, and therefore is worth the wait.
