He doesn't care about his patients. All about testing when he know's the truth .

I have had a number of GI Dr's in the past. Dr. Troutman is the best Dr I have ever had.

I have been trying to work with Dr. Troutman for over a year now and it is like pulling teeth with his office ( very painful). You have to make an Appointment that is at least 3 months in advance, and then if you see his PA, she can't really help you so it's a waste of time. He had asked me to do some Women's wellness tests and I did them, then he wanted me to do an eye test, and a test to see if I was depressed and it seemed that every test came back okay. So, then when I have gotten in to see him (after many months) and he said I was ready to get started and to get in touch with his nurse, when she called me back she told me I had to do more tests! I just want to get done, and this takes to long. A person could die waiting on all the crap they have you go through, I'm finding another doctor!

Dr. Troutman was above well average in the time that he spent with me and explained all procedures, preparations and post operative care in good detail. He answered all of my questions so that I understood and made me feel at ease despite the nature of what was in store for me (a colonoscopy - YUK!).

He doesn't seem interested in his patients.

Dr Troutment in my eyes is probably one of the most caring Dr. I know in his field He always took time in answering my questions and if he was busy (because he is such a good Dr. )he will make sure his PA is there to help. When I saw the one rating and how poor it was I was really shocked. Maybe that person should go to him again and try talking with him I bet he willl listen

Dr. Troutman's office is the worst to work with. If you have an appointment 3 months in advance, they call the day before the appointment to tell you they are going to have to reschedule but the next available is a month from now. Also, good luck actually getting in to see Troutman. He is like the Wizard as far as I'm concerned, since we've never once seen him.
