“I recently visited Mother Al Halawani and had a very disappointing experience. The doctor was unprofessional and dismissive, and I felt uncomfortable during the visit. Communication was poor, and I was not given clear information or proper guidance. I left feeling unheard and dissatisfied with the care I received. He was disrespectful and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this doctor. Is very sad people like him make patients fell this bad

Horrible office! The front desk is all over the place with inaccurate information. The doctor tries th pressure you into appointments and threatens to terminate you if you forget your papers. All of these issues caused me to wait 2 weeks for insulin, 2 painful weeks!!! What a joke of an office! I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

At the least he should retire he's way too old to be treating patients. Al-Halawani was yelling and screaming at my husband about his blood sugar readings before checking his A1c of 6.4. Someone needs to enact the Bakers Act and intercede on behalf of him, he is suffering from a mental illness, he needs admitted. I posted this for my neighbors... Hy neighbors looking for some recommendations for an excellent endocrinologist. An endocrinologist that works with adults and has good bedside manners. We have insurance the issue is our endocrinologists bedside manner is very rude. Please do not recommend Monther H. Al-Halawani Thank you in advance!!!

Doctor is very rude and arrogant has no bedside manners. Doesn’t allow you to ask questions because if you do you’re met with a nothing but a condescending attitude. And his office manager is equally rude and disrespectful. Find someone who will treat you as they would want their loved one to be treated with respect and dignity. I wouldn’t recommend a buzzard to this office.

Not a doctor I'd ever recommend. He does not listen to his patients concerns, he dismissed anything you have to say. I had massive issues after a biopsy, and when I rushed back to see him he literally was not concerned and advised me to go to the hospital or get a 2nd opinion if I disagreed. Not only did he not care that my face had swelled up massively, the office visit was not supposed to be charged for. Weeks later the office went back and charged my insurance for this visit, and then harassed me over a balance I continued to advise that I did not understand where it came from. DO NOT GO HERE!

After an initial good visit, it was nice he did uktrasound and biopsy in office. However since i didnt go with his $1k consult oncologist Halawani decided to cuss at me and fire me as a patient! Ive never thought a doctor would talk to anyone they way he did me, it was surreal.

The first few times i saw him he was good, he did catch my thyroid cancer and it was nice that they did ultrasound and biopsy in office but to get any change in meds after bloodwork he requires to be seen each time- which ok, i can understand bc some people have questions or whatever however today he showed me he is off his rocker! He literally just fired me as a patient bc i didnt use the oncologist he recommended ( clayman at tgh who has a $1000 consultation that is NOT covered by ANY insurance ) i went with who i was comfortable with who my surgeon recommended for my thyroid ablation following my total thyroidectomy surgery/ cancer diagnosis. He literally said to me " why the h* did you go to this person, i dont know who the f* this is. They apparently know more than me so they can get you medicine" and then he gave me a patient termination letter!

Dr. Halawani is a very caring DR. .... I live in Lutz, Fl and I travel to Brandon to see him .... Sure i could find another Dr. that is closer to me ... But not one who seems to really care about my health ....He tells me things i need to do to get off my meds .... and one of these days i am going to listen to him ...... Thanks Doc.

I just got all my notes from this doctor and he didn't listen to a single thing I told him. He must be dyslexic as he wrote the exact opposite of my words. I do have trouble eating, swallowing, breathing, insomnia and a host of other things and he wrote that I didn't. I have growing goiter which is choking me and he made sure it wasn't cancer and sent me home with pills, no explanations, no explanations on my bone scan, just handed the papers. He has his back to you the whole time talking into a dictaphone and saying whatever he wants for 5 minutes. And he will milk your insurance for every test he can imagine. Beware.

the best nurse at that office is Lori, she truly represent the quality of care that is expected at a Dr. office.
