Dr Blau changed my life. He performed a gynecomastia and lipo surgery on me and I am finally free to live my life the way it should have been. For years I wore two t shirts, or hoodies in the summer to hide my chest. I was living a half life. No beach, no pool, no confidence. Dr. Blau changed that. He went over everything with me at our consult. He made me feel welcome and created a safe space for questions. The surgery yielded incredible results with little to no pain. I am highly satisfied with the standard of care Dr. Blau provided. The surgery was seamless. I felt minimal pain. There is minimal swelling. I felt back to normal within 2 hours of my operation. Healing continues to progress. Time will tell how the end result pans out, but I am highly optimistic thus far!

I normally don't like writing reviews but I wanted to share my experience in hope that it might help somebody. I suffered from a pretty severe case of gynecomastia for about 10 years. I was finally able to afford the surgery this year so I started looking for an experienced surgeon in my area. I found Dr Blau's profile and his results looked great. At the time, I was considering between him and another surgeon here in NY but I decided to go with him because not only his price was better but the other surgeon also recommended him. I did not meet him until the day of the surgery because I was busy at work but I did spend a lot of time talking to him and his staff over the phone. They were super nice and helpful. They allowed me to call anytime to ask questions. Even the anesthesiologist reached out to me prior to the surgery. The surgery went well, they put me to sleep and I woke up gynecomastia free. Recovery was different from what I heard from other people because I didn't have to… wear any compression vest for weeks or draining devices. I am really happy with the results and I finally removed my shirt in public this summer for the first in many years. I have also lost a few pound since the surgery so people definitely take notice. It feels amazing to go to the store and not being restricted on what kind of clothes I can wear to hide my gynecomastia. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Blau because he changed my life (Yeah, I know this sounds like one of those cliche TV commercial) but he really did. I feel way more comfortable and confident now.

I have been a physician around nyc for over 40 years and had heard about Dr Blau’s superior skills even before I needed gynecomastia surgery about 6 months ago.He is the plastic surgeon that doctors and nurses around nyc go to when they need cosmetic surgery. While there many surgeons to pick from around nyc Dr.Blau was the clear choice for me since he has the most experience and the best reputation. My moderately severe case has healed without a noticeable scar and no trace of gynecomastia remains.He is truly an artist and I would tell my own mother to go to him if she needed surgery.

During the consultation, Dr. Blau gave me a book that he had written himself on gynecomastia. The fact that he had written a book on gynecomastia really showed me that Dr. Blau was the best in the game. About a month after my consultation, I got the procedure done and it was the probably the best decision of my life. It’s been only 2 weeks after the procedure and the scarring is nearly invisible. There’s also no pain now and most importantly, I’m much more confident to take my shirt off in public now. Came to see Dr. Blau, the most experienced Gynecomastia surgeon I could find. This is my 2nd surgery, the first left me unsatisfied and had to see Dr. Blau to get it done right. Dr. Blau, has over 3000 pictures (before and after) of former patients (many body builders) who vouch for his success. He has trained other surgeons on how to do the procedure and his extensive experience was worth the flight up from Florida. I just was visiting Dr Blau this week for a yearly check up and I feel obligated to answer to the below review because I had a very different experience with my gynecomastia that was operated by others surgeons twice before I finally got wise and went to Dr. Blau. Even though I was badly deformed by two previous gynecomastia operations by an unnamed surgeon Dr. Blau gave me a new life and completely corrected my deformities and gynecomastia. I couldn't be more happy with my results and can't thank him enough for all his hard work. He made sure I was comfortable, explained everything, and made sure I was 100% satisfied with my results. Obviously the “anonymous” person below me writing the previous review has an agenda “after 2 years!!” Sure. One has to question how "real" he even is as Dr. Blau has many competitors one prominent one in LI who constantly trash talks him to try to steal patients from him. I know this because I have experienced it first hand when I visited this un-named… surgeon for a consult before I decided to go with Dr. Blau and thank god I did. All I can is do your research and see past these often fake-review sites as Dr. Blau is the real to-go-man and has the satisfied patients with TONS of before and after images to back it up. If you want the best of the best. I also know 3 of his very happy patients.
