Dr. McCarty took one look at my problem and said it was a cyst. Two weeks later she cut me open, cauterized the wound, and gave me two layers of stitches. A week after that, pus was oozing from the stitches. I went to see her and asked her about it, and she cussed at me, saying, "It takes time for this sh** to heal." Her nurse was in the room and heard plain as day. I got a phone call from ARC saying my test result was negative, but I didn't know what it was negative for. Turns out the test result was negative for a cyst, but Dr. McCarty insisted it was a ruptured cyst. Two months later and I've totally quit using ARC because they send you to doctors like this and don't look at your files. The suture area that Dr. McCarty misdiagnosed and cut open, then stitched shut, is purple and continues to ooze and gets more painful every day. I have never had such a callous doctor. Just because your ARC general practitioner refers you to this quack doesn't mean she has to be your dermatologist.

Rushed through appointment, didn't even act like she cared. Asked me if I wanted her to check me over. What? Didn't ask or answer questions. Spent maybe a total of 3 minutes with me which included a biopsy. Mind blown.

I went to Dr. McCarty for a skin check. I ended up having a basal cell mole that needed excising. I went back to Dr. Mccarty 3 times as my incision was red, swollen, hot and oozing yellow pus. She told me repeatly that is was ok. Long story short, went to my old dermatologist and I had an abscess that required extensive cleaning and 10 days of antibiotics!!!! This Dr. is inexperienced and doesn’t listen to her patients. I do NOT recommend.

After rushing through our appointment and blowing off my concerns, Dr. McCarty misdiagnosed my daughter's skin condition and prescribed medication that was too strong. Thank goodness I went for a second opinion.

appointment may 2015 place on forearm said I don`t know what it is just put some hydrcotisone on it. may 2016 diagnosed another derm 3rd stage cancer. do not trust her!
