It was my first visit to get a second opinion regarding my Achalasia 1. To find out from him if POEM was the only and best option in my case. I found him very relaxing and pleasant, actually very funny and strait talker. He took time to explain to me and my son all the options, and his opinion on which one was the best for me. Nurse was great, the receptionists was friendly very helpful. I will see him again soon.

A lot of reviews here are obvious fakes to improve his rating. I do not recommend him. He's very irritable and complains throughout the visit that he is overworked and overbooked. I suspect he knows his medicine but he's having trouble applying it because of apparent mood problems. Too bad he's so unhappy.

Dr. Morris Traube is not a caring doctor. He promised me that we would follow up as my diverticulosis pain has been terrible. I had my medical information sent from another specialist but never head from hi office, I called today, and firmly requested an appointment as soon as possible, as Dr. Traube told me to do. He also told me that he worked long hours and could be there for me until late in the day, past regular office hours. He TOTALLY reneged on his word, and, because I voiced my anger, he had his staff block me from getting ANY appointment at all. Jennifer, one of his clerks ,was very rude to me and determined NOT to help me. His nurse practioner, tried to help, but she was no match for several staff members determined to block me. ABSOLUTELY the WORST experience I have EVER had with any doctor and I am 72 years old! Perhaps Dr. Traube needs to review the Hippocratic Oath that he took many years ago!! I hope to have follow-up with QC...meanwhile I have registered this… information with a professional. NO patient should be treated this way!!!

after waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes and finally seeing the doctor, without his apology for the wait, Dr Traube decided thats its OK to do a procedure that is not needed just so he bill the insurance company and teach his trainee. He didnt think that the patient might have to co-pay for the procedure and that it is unethical

Kind, caring , intelligent ... Everything you want and need in a Doctor!

He supposedly knows his stuff but is very rude, in a rush, not a very nice guy. Makes you feel very uncomfortable and has no compassion. He might be a good doctor but treats you like your just a number.
