It is a great pleasure and honor to share my background with you as I join the Dental Arts Team. I studied mechanical engineering in Seoul, Korea, and worked for two years in Research and Development at SAMSUNG Electronics. I earned my M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and started a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. However, I have always been interested in the field of dentistry, and I enjoy working with people much more than machines. This led me to earn a DMD from Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston, where I won several awards for outstanding clinical practice.
Technological advancements in dentistry are being achieved very rapidly today, and I keep up with the latest technology with regard to implants, such as the Computer-Guided Implant system and cosmetic dentistry. With my unique background in both engineering and dentistry, I can …assure you that you receive the most advanced and appropriate treatment in the Dental Arts office. My practice philosophy reflects not only my commitment to the highest quality of dental care and technical skills of dentistry, but also my genuine attention to patients’ concerns (their dental needs, fear, and financial plan).
