Perfect doctor, he immediately took my whole health into account, making sure nothing is missed.

Dr. Faynsod is not compassionate, kind, or knowledgeable about his patient or the facility literature. He did not take time to explain my pathology report thoroughly. When I asked specific questions about my pathology report, he chastised me, and said, "I'll do all I'm supposed to do and nothing less." At my bedside in the hospital, just prior to the lumpectomy, he criticized me for bringing a compression bra recommended by City of Hope. He never offered or spoke about oncoplastic (reconstruction) surgery. In the post op visit he wanted to know if I'd had an MRI, when would I start radiation (he told me I would not need radiation) and asked me my age? An MRI is a necessity prior to the lumpectomy, I need radiation, and my age is in my chart, how unprepared can a doctor be? To make matters worse, when he performed surgery he removed the Savi Scout Marker and missed three sides of the cancer area. I've had to have two more surgeries with a fantastic doctor and reconstruction… surgery. City of Hope is a fantastic facility, they have fantastically skilled doctors and staff. Dr. Faynsod is not one of them. Treating a patient is more than just removing or mending the body.

Dr Faynsod took care of me 5 years ago. I live in NY and have been followed by one of his associates. At this point I am going thru a difficult time and really miss Dr. Faynsod. He is a highly skilled surgeon as well as a kind caring professional.
