Dr. Mostafa I M Abuzeid, MD

Our experience with Dr. Abuzeid was absolutely awful. His evaluations and treatment plans were vague, confusing, and severely lacking in depth, leaving us feeling frustrated, uninformed, and stuck for nearly a year. His staff, while attempting to appear professional, were rude, inattentive, and completely unprofessional, failing to deliver even basic care. The entire process felt rushed and impersonal, as if we were merely a means to generate income rather than patients deserving of genuine care. We felt ignored, disrespected, and deeply dissatisfied throughout. After switching to a different provider, we achieved success and became pregnant within six months. We strongly advise against seeking care from Dr. Abuzeid and his staff. Don't waste your time and money, he doesn't know what he is doing.

I am truly grateful for Dr. Abuzeid! He is concerned about helping young women with challenges (fibroid, cyst, endometriosis, etc). I highly recommend him if you want a doctor who cares. LM

Dr Mostafa is definitely my miracle worker. He's the most caring man, very kind and very good listener. Totally recommend him!

I know that we will be taken care of in the most thoughtful way possible. We had one round of IVF previously and have one beautiful boy. His staff is very kind and helpful. You can tell the people who work at this office really care about the patients. It is not about NUMBERS here. It is about people caring for others and helping them realize their dreams.

He’s sincere, honest, thourogh and knowledgeable. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. His staff is just as caring and they really do live for this. If you’re looking for a RE I would recommend him over and over!

Maybe my thoughts are tainted because the IVF did not work for me, but I was disappointed with my experience at IVF of Flint with Dr. Abuzeid. There is not a lot of time with the Dr. and I spent a lot of time playing phone tag with the nurses when I had questions because I am a working professional. My first go around I had minor problems, some of which was from my lack of understanding and medical knowledge so I'm not laying all blame on them for everything. The following were my issues: I had an ultrasound with a staff member. She put the catheter in wrong so the other Dr pulled it out and put it back in. It was painful and I ended up with a UTI after the procedure. When the IVF did not work Dr A wanted me to do the same ultrasound again but with him doing the procedure. When he was two hours late, the staff decided to do it themselves. I had the same lady as the first time and I had the same test results as the first time. No one gave me the results of my egg retrieval after the… procedure. Possibly because the results were not good (possibly because they were too eager to remove them). I only had one mature egg. Dr recommended implanting anyway. Before the anesthesia kicked in for the egg implant, he kept saying if this does not work I'll take care of you. He repeated this two or three times. I did not get pregnant. Our first meeting we told him and the nurse about my husband's genetic disease in the x chromosome. After the IVF not working, he was suddenly interested in the disease. Almost like he was looking for a place to lay the blame, but I can't be certain. Now they wanted to do all these extra procedures that weren't necessary the first time. They wanted me to get genetic testing to make sure I did not have the same disease even though I told them that it was not possible. This disease is very symptom like. They recommended the genetic testing anyway. Genetic testing is not very well covered by insurance. I ended up with an extremely large bill and the same result that I had told them to begin with. They wanted to test my husband for the same two diseases that I did test positive for. Natural birth carries genetic diseases all the time. I would not have gotten genetic testing if I had been able to get pregnant naturally. I made a plan with them to do the traditional IVF in April. So when I called to get started again they said that the procedure would have to be postponed if we wanted to try to spin off the chromosomes. I don't know why they did not tell me this before hand. I was ready to go in April. After everything that had happened before I was just discouraged and done. The staff and doctors were really nice people but they made too many recommendations that were not necessary and cost me a lot of heartache and money.

He is too good as a person and treats people wth care

Dr. Abuzeid is amazing!!! My husband and I started seeing him at the beginning of the year because we have had miscarriages and been struggling to conceive. After undergoing testing Dr. A offered us a course of action that started with an uncommonly performed pocedure instead of sending us right to IVF. I am one of 7 women to have this procedure (that he introduced) and 3 of us are now pregnant! For us it happened the month after we got the go ahead to try naturally. Dr A and his staff are friendly, compassionate, and so patient. They truly want us to succeed and did everything they could to make it happen... and it did!

We were referred to Dr Abuzied and setting up a visit was the best decision we ever made. He was able to successfully remove a septate from my uterus and after a successful round of IVF we now have very healthy twins!
