I provide inpatient and outpatient diagnosis, consultation, evaluation and state-of-the-art treatment for a wide range of pulmonary and critical care conditions, lung diseases and lung cancer. I provide full-service care that includes prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and education. I use my specialized pulmonary medicine expertise with the most sophisticated techniques and technologies available to diagnose and treat many patients. I deliver a broad range of specialized diagnostic and surgical procedures to patients suffering from conditions that include:

• Cancer of the lung, pleural membrane and mediastinum
• Airway disorders, such as asthma, emphysema
• Pleural diseases, such as pleural effusion, asbestosis, and pleurisy

Also, I am interested in ultrasound application and airway resuscitation in critically ill patients. I believe that thoracic ultrasound performed by physicians in the intensive care units is one of the most promising techniques for …respiratory monitoring and should rapidly expand in the near future. As part of my medical directorship I implemente evidence-based protocols including the daily evaluation, assessment and application of the Spontaneous Breathing and Sedation Awakening Trials (SBT, SAT), and implemented the Early Mobility Program
