Worst experience of my life. I was admitted and unfortunately he was assigned as my attending physician. I had finished radiation for cancer and was admitted for intense pain 10/10. I had a catheter put in which added to the pain. After several days of no pain relief, he came in my room looked at the catheter and said urine was clear I could be discharged. I argued with him that I couldn't even get out of bed because of the pain, he said he had spoken to my cancer doctors and he decided I could be discharged. He had not spoken to them. A day later my catheter was blood filled so he had to keep me in. He came in for less than 2 minutes when he did come in my room, told me that my opinion didn't count and I did not have rights, never spoke to me about what his diagnosis was of my condition, I only saw his diagnosis on my discharge sheet and was shocked. I appealed my discharge and was there an extra day. On the final day, a Saturday, at 11:30a.m. they said he didn't want to discharge… me until home health was set up which was hard on a Saturday, so I was there for another 6 1/2 hours until the discharge coordinators shift was over and told that I should call home health on Monday if they didn't contact me first. This doctor was uncommunicative, unprofessional and certainly I would NEVER recommend him.

One of the worst at Banner Gateway. Outright lied, one day saying he wanted us to stay 24 hours, next day saying he said to leave. Luckily the cardiologist knew what was right. Kept interrupting us as well, just about as unpleasant an experience as we’ve had here.
