Dr. Munir Youssef Elawar, MD

I have never been to this doctor's office. I have been his patient in the hospital 2 times when he was on call. He told me they were not equipped to treat me. He was nice enough but refused to use drugs that my doctor used and didn't even give me anything to try and treat my condition. I guess I need to tell my body that it needs to be sick when my doctor is on call, not Dr. Elawar.

Dr. Elawar was so thorough he spent the time explaining my condition with my husband and I. He ordered the necessary tests. His staff is courteous and very accurate. He is very prompt. We didn't have to wait very long to be seen. He is kind and answered all questions we had. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a neurologist. I am glad that I changed doctors and found him. I would not go to another neurologist. I am anxious to continue my care with Dr. Elawar.

I really appreciated the time he spent with me after telling me that I did, indeed, have MS. I also liked that he insisted I get a second opinion due to MS being something that cannot be diagnosed by just a test.
