Dr. Munjal Girish Shroff, DO

I have always been happy with Dr Shroff and his staff. They are very thorough and receptive to the needs of their patients. I have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to be seen and as far as drug testing, it’s the law that if you’re on a controlled substance, you have to be drug tested at intervals. They are also very knowledgeable about medications and are very up to date on the latest treatment options. I highly recommend the practice.

I am so happy that someone referred me to this office and Dr. Shroff! After my very first visit the doctor knew exactly the right treatment for me to get healthy and return to work in less than a month. He takes time to go over my treatment plan and to answer any questions I have. I am grateful for Dr. Shroff and his staff!!

I was in the care of this practice for close to 7 years. I was so sad when I had to move. Dr. Shroff really gets to know you and will do what it takes to help you on your journey. I honestly don't think I would be alive today if it wasn't for Dr. Shroff and the practice. No amount of thanks will ever be enough. I also have to point out that he is really consistent and drills home the importance of the other aspects of mental health. Happy is also an amazing lady. She loves getting to know people and helping them in whatever way she can.

I made an appointment to see one of the providers, who is supervised by Dr. Shroff. The day before the appointment the office called me and told me my appointment was canceled. It seems my condition was not deemed worthy and treatable by this P.A. From the intake form and never meeting me in person this conclusion was decided. Someone was supposed to speak with Dr. Shroff regarding an appointment for me but no one ever got back with me. Shame on Dr. Shroff. This is your practice and you supervise your employees. It is clear you have so many patients you do not need to be bothered with new ones.

I see that most of these bad reviews are dated, but also the comments were toward payments,visits and more meds. He has to monitor your meds. The office does not charge to file prescriptions. The wait time depends on the severity of that persons well being. I havent had any of that. He is attentive and is very knowledgeable. If your getting urine tested, its for your organs health. If you dont know why, always ask, hos staff will explain to you why your meds. are being changed or adjusted. There are online coupons that you can use at several pharmacies.

There are complaints about wait times etc... but if THEY were the ones that needed extra time because of a crisis, they would not be concerned that they were making others wait. It is psychiatry folks.... it is the nature of the beast! There are, and will be emergencies that need to be addressed. Dr. Schrof is extremely capable, he worked with me to get my meds - not only right, but where I was a functioning human being again... did I like them - NO; was it what I needed - absolutely!

Shroff lacks a supportive bedside manner. He over does urine tests for the extra money and will nickel and dime you for unnecessarily frequent visits. He is not up to date on use of medications. Though I have been to 5 psychiatrists because of relocation, he changed my diagnosis from one that was 20 years old to a more serious one that I do not have.

I was a patient of this office for a long time. Like most people I have to work to pay my bills so I can't always get in and this office seems to want me to come in constantly. The wait times are very long and the doctor does not spend a lot of time with you. He also does not explain things very well. He does not include very many refills on your prescription which requires you to have to go to his office frequently and if you cannot get to the office they charge you $30 to electronically transfer a prescription to my pharmacy which should be free especially because I was a long time patient. It's almost as if they're charging me a copay and I have never had any doctors office do that. I also don't feel that I needed to be seen but once every six months as my condition is stable but they were constantly wanting me to come in every 2 to 3 months and my condition didnt change. I understand there are some medicines that have to be monitored but once every six months is plenty unless I'm… having issues. Sometimes I felt like this doctor nickeled and dimed me just to try to get money out of me when I'm already in a very tight budget anyway and I couldnt just go without the medication that I was on. Just being honest about my review here because I've never had a doctor's office charge me electronically transfer a prescription to my pharmacy. Most the time I called them it takes them several hours if not the next day they even call me back and even then I have to play phone tag. Several times my prescriptions had not been called in the correct strength as well. Beware.

My experience with this doctor has been okay.It is difficult to deal with the office staff.If you call the office it will be several hours , or even the next day , before they return your call.Also , this doctor does not seem to keep accurate records of what he tells patients.
