She does not take the time to speak with her patients, makes recommendations for care and does not provide the patient with her reasoning or education as to why she believes this treatment is necessary. Will deliver news then leave. Poor bedside manners. Not friendly. Run!

I had an issue with a previous pregnancy, but instead of taking my word seriously, this doctor said "No problem" and did not event request a follow-up visit. My daughter was born a micro preemie 2 months later. She had a number of issues, particularly respiratory-related, during her short life. Dr. Turnquest Wells needs to learn from her mistakes, but she offered no genuine sympathy when she saw me in the hospital hallway around the time I gave birth. To all who are considering Norton for antepartum care, think about going to Lexington instead. No at-risk women should trust themselves or their baby to this doctor!

I was treated by Dr. Turnquest after finding out I was having twins, I also have a blood clotting disorder which almost caused me to lose my first daughter (as I was unaware that I had it) at birth due to a clot in her umbilical cord. Because of this, extra precautions were taken by my OB my second and third pregnancies. I was taking heparin injections. I was told by her that I didn't need to take those anymore. I didn't understand why she would be saying this, as my regular OB had done testing and I was sent to a specialist during my second pregnancy and had a very big happy healthy baby. The twin pregnancy was my third. She basically told me that if I hadn't had a blood clot then I didn't need to be treated with heparin during my pregnancy... except I DID have a blood clot in my first pregnancy. When I pointed this out she got irritated with me. I never went back and requested another high risk doctor and it was the best decision I EVER made. With the help of my new high risk doctor… and my OBGYN my care was excellent. Just in case your wondering how this all turned out, I DID need to stay on the blood thinners, and I delivered two very healthy babies without complications.

Dr. Turnquest comes highly recommended with years of experience in the field. She takes her time with patients, explain things really well, and give details about all options available when faced with a little difficulty. I would see her again. She delivered my baby boy and was very professional and has excellent hand skills. My incision healed up wonderfully in weeks. I loved my experience and would in fact see her again!

Two years ago we suffered a stillbirth and have had multiple miscarriages. My husband and I just get done with our little girl’s ultrasound. We were so excited to see a healthy baby. The Dr. walks in and immediately tells us, “Sorry for your loss”, while giving us ultrasound pictures. We were devestated thinking something was wrong with our current pregnancy. Apparently, she was referring to the stillbirth. My whole appointment was hashing out our past losses with no sympathy. She continually gave medical terminology with no definition. She is completely text book, while my normal OBGYN (who I love) is always telling me that not every patient is textbook and sometimes you have to think outside the box. I walked out of what should have been a happy appointment extremely discouraged.

She is the kind that THINK SHE IS GOD! She don't listen...She is who can talk and talk ... DON'T RECOMMEND.

She's a terrible Doctor who should not be practicing medicine. She doesn't care about her patients, barely spoke to me throughout my care and when I asked a question the answer was always "I don't know". I would not recommend her to anyone and anyone who is thinking about seeing her, please look into her history. There are many complaints against her!

First things first Im warning anyone who has to go to this office that their billing is horrible. They did not disclose to me that everything is billed as outpatient. Not a single thing was billed like a regular doctor's office. This includes test and office visits! I didnt know this until my son was born and I started getting bills from 3 months ago! They also bill their ultrasounds through the hospital, which cost even more money! Ive got awesome insurance, but still have to pay 10% of everything this office did! Im currently fighting this, but dont think Ill win! I was referred to Dr. Turnquest office for Gestational Diabetes. I saw her partner, Dr. Hughes on my first visit and only saw Dr. Turnquest once. When we saw Dr. Turnquest, she seemed to be annoyed that we asked to speak to her. She was rude and did not want to answer our questions. For 3 months we never saw another doctor. On numerous occasions, neither doctor was even in the office. When my son was born,… the cord was around him 3 times this office never caught that he was in any distress. My own OB caught it on a routine visit.Dont go to this office, unless you have money to burn. There are other high risk doctors in the Evansville area I wish someone would have warned me before we ended up being out hundreds of dollars for a bunch of tests that I didnt really need.
