Dr. Murray Rosenbaum, MD

I don't usually go on here for this purpose but I do want to say that he is very skilled and knowledgeable. His claim to me that he takes on all the cases that others have failed regarding ablations is not unfounded. Don't get the impression that he has an ego behind this-he has a right to be proud of what he does. I had a complex ablation last month for Atrial Fib, which significantly impacted on my life style prior to procedure with shortness of breath. I could barely walk a short distance with it. As this was my second procedure, I was sensitized as the first one, done by Wilber Su in Arizona, had a post-op complication of groin pain which I had to live with for five weeks. But it got to the point that three cardioversions in the space of two months were not working. I came to him hearing that he was the best in Boca. The man did an extensive four hour procedure on me, found enough electrical discharges in many directions to approximate getting lost on a busy freeway. He did work on… multiple areas, and was professional enough to tell me that he had to complete unfinished work that Dr. Su started with the first ablation I had, which astonished me. He is patient and soft-spoken. You have to ASK him questions though-I find that he won't volunteer. The office will give you your medical records without question, which I did on post-op visit yesterday. That is a good thing. Those records show that he had to cardiovert me on the table. He never told me about this, probably figured I didn't need to know. I'm one of those rarer breeds of patients, however, that want to actively participate in my healthcare, rather than those who want to leave everything in the hands of the MD, and not know about what is being done. He either had to cardiovert me during the normal course of the procedure, or bring me back from an arrest. Either way, I am greatful. It has been two months and I am in normal rhythm. I have one month to go and hope for the best, as this condition is only controlled, not curable at this time. (I did have an issue with two of his associates, notably with one who wanted to cardiovert me in the hospital without speaking to me about it, and just run me into the lab and have me sign. He had no prior knowledge of my condition as Rosenbaum was on vacation, and was acting on a medical treadmill-"treat em and street em". So I am not crazy about his associates so far. They don't have his expertise, and I bet they feel uncomfortable working under his shadow.) So go to this guy, and ask just for him. He is very busy, but if you can wait, it is worth it.

Dr. Rosenbaum is in a class of his own. One of the the most caring & compassionate Dr.s I have. From day one, his bedside manner & thorough explanations, have been spot on. He has always given me 110%, in terms of doing everything in his power, to solve my problem.

There should be more Dr. Rosenbaum's around, there are far too many electrical heart issues to be addressed. Dr. Rosenbaum is so busy and hard to get an appointment with. When you do get an appointment you will probably wait a bit. He is the "best" and is a man of few words. Write down your questions and he will answer every one of them. If your problem can be resolved Dr. Rosenbaum will resolve it.

Dr. Rosenbaum is worth waiting for. He came highly recommended by a friend but was difficult to get. When speaking to him, you can see in his eyes that he cares but he is a man of few words. I am happy to report he performed an ablation for my Afib and as of this writing it was a success. These ratings could be deceiving especially if a Doctor is as requested as Dr. Rosenbaum. If you ask him a question, you will get an answer, he will not just ramble as other Doctors do. You won't go wrong with this Doctor.

It is worth the wait to be a patient of Dr. Rosenbaum

Dr. Murray Rosenbaum is a very caring Doctor. He is the best in his speciality of electrophysiologist and there would not be another doctor to fill his shoes. He has a wonderful bedside manner and really cares about his patients.

Dr. Rosenbaum is a highly skilled physician who in my opinion is an expert in both diagnosing and correcting cardiac abnormalities. Dr. Rosenbaum has published numerous articles concerning the safety of cardiac ablation in addition to many other cardiac papers. Dr. RAosenbaum is an excellent physician!

Dr. Rosenbaum would receive a very poor rating in the treatment of patients. He has no bedside manner and fails to communicate to his patients vital information they should know.
