Dr schwalb was generally pleasant. Recommended a prostate biopsy with a PSA of 2.3... Huh ? His Office staff is rude and incompetent. This was reason enough to find an other urologist.

I have a great deal of comfort level with this doc.

Great doctor. Took time to listen to my concerns. Very knowledgable .

This doctor don't have one ounce of a men's word on him. He schedule me for surgery. I go to the hospital on the date of surgery and he cancel the surgery on me. This happend after seeing him at his office two days before my surgery. The doctor said to me " When you get called from the the hospital they wants you to be there early in the morning disregard what they say. I want you to be there at 1:00 PM. I got to the hospital at 11:50 AM a little bit earliar before my surgery, they put a robe on me before surgery and they send me to the waiting room before I go into the surgery room. I then hear the nurse talking to Dr. David Schwalb and I hear her said " you want to cancel this operation" and he said yes. this happend after waiting all day without eating nothing and numerous visits to his clinic, I was coming from Queens to the Bronx paying tolls not to mention the gasoline I was waisting. All these checkups for nothing.

I love Dr. Schwalb and his staff, they are all a pleasure to see when I am ill, and when I'm not ill. His office should be a model or most others!
