Dr. Mushfeka Moiz Golawala, MD

Prescribes meds that are not necessary for insurance claims to make big bucks. She got my dad adxxted to pain kxxlers and psych drgs for her benefit. Stay away.

As mentioned she is not very bright nor attentive. She seemed to know little about her patient (my mother) and was not at all responsive. She is a nice person but I felt she was in outer space with respect to patient care.

My father was hospitalized at west Boca for three weeks and he was assign to Dr Golawala but I never saw during that period of time, except for only one day one of her assisting doctor came to check on my dad. I will call her the ghost doctor at west Boca.

I was an inpatient at west boca medical center in 2009 for pneumonia. As an inpatient my hospital wrist band included my date of birth in a very visable location. After I was moved to a room from the ER, Dr Golawala introduced herself and informed me that she was changing my medicine to a cocktail consisting of Levaquin and and the steroid prednisone. Unbeknownst to me the FDA issued a BLACK BOX WARNING not to administer FLUROQUINALONE/STEROID COCKTAILS in patients 60 years old or older because it causes tendon ruptures. After I was discharged from the hospital Dr Golawala instructed me continue with the same cocktail for another week. Mind you, I was 4 weeks shy of my 60th birthday. Two weeks after completeing my regimen I experienced severe pain in my left shoulder. It persisted for a couple of weeks so I procured the services of an othopedic surgeon. The results of several x-rays revealed that I was suffering from a RUPTURED ROTATOR CUFF. If Dr. Mushfeka Golawala was competent she… would have been conscience of my age and the FDA BLACK BOX WARNING. There are so many other antibiotics that she could have selected that worked well with the prednisone. Her blatant stupidity caused me months of pain and rehabilitation. I wanted to sue her for damages but she does not carry any malpractice insurance. My wife pleaded with me not to sue the hospital in fear they would not accept me if I had an emergency. To appease my wife I never filed a civil complaint against the hospital. I am at a loss why her hospital privilages have not been revoked. My advice to you: Find another physician.

Dr. Golawala was so kind. I'd gone to several doctors before her and no one had been nearly as willing to answer questions and help the way she did. Highly recommend!

The only doctor I have experienced that cares about the patient and getting the necessary tests and followups done.

She is the dumbest thing going. I cant believe she graduated any school, they guy who pumps gas is brighter.

She is so stupid that it proves even a moron who is breathing can graduate medical school. Not only a compulsive liar, but a brainless dimwit. NEVER let her touch you and NEVER put your medical care in her hands. This piece of garbage helped destroy my life, I wish her everything that she did to me....TIMES TEN. You pathetic piece of waste.

This woman was the worst excuse for a doctor I've ever been seen by. She was rude and any questions I asked she completely made me feel like I was crazy for even asking. I asked her a serious question about an infection I had and she said let me ask the nurse and never returned. She was in my hospital room for less than a minute. I wouldn't recommend her to examine my worst enemy. Rudest Doctor ever. If she is your doctor you must like to have someone not care about your health.

She is such a mess that it proves anyone can get through med school. I would die before I let anyone I know near her.
