Hello, I'm Carol Chisanga, a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC APRN-CNP). My mission is to make mental healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial background. With a master's degree in Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, I am further enhancing my skills by pursuing a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in various healthcare settings. This has allowed me to refine my skills in patient care, crisis intervention, and effective medication management. At Great Hope Psychiatry I completed a comprehensive clinical hour's rotation, where I became proficient in techniques like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and telehealth. I am passionate about bridging the gap in mental healthcare access through my Psychiatric/behavioral telehealth service. I treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, …depression, bipolar disorder, and general mental health. Licensed in both Texas and Florida. Providing high-quality, compassionate patient centered care through the convenience of telehealth. My leadership experience in diverse healthcare environments has strengthened my commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. Whether working with adolescents, adults, or elderly patients, my priority is to offer compassionate care. I am dedicated to truly listening to my patients, understanding their unique needs, and guiding them through their mental health journeys with empathy and expertise.
