His practices are horrible. Every time I visit, whether in person or through telemedicine, I either have to wait for over an hour, reschedule because they're too busy to meet during my scheduled appointment time, or they hang up on me when calling. During my telemedicine appointment I could hear & see Dr. Moaven meeting with another patient. Their results, health issues, etc. were not confidential as I could hear everything. When he was backed up, I had to meet with another doctor, and I explained I was having prolonged side effects from a prescription and she didn't even know what that drug was used for or why I was even meeting with Dr. Moaven. This is the most unprofessional practice I've ever been to.

Didn t even allow me to explain my symptoms and offered no treatment although I ve been ill for a year and a half with pain and deadly bacteria. Told me outright to go elsewhere. Thank God I didn t pay first for his consultation

In my limited exeperience I am not a fan. I should have gone with my gut when I read the reviews about this Dr. and his staff. They have another location in Maplewood,NJ. First I make an appoint where it is confirmed I would see Dr. Moaven, they call me the day before to confirm my appointment. Then the call me 3.5 hrs before the appointment to bump up my appointment. Then I'm told I'm not seeing Dr. Moaven but another Dr. what the heck? That makes no sense. Thats not who I spent time researching. Then you tell me well the Dr. is to leave at 6 my appointment was for 6 so your saying I can't see the Dr? He says no, just that the Dr. has to leave at 6. So that means the Dr. is going to rush my appointment.Yea you can cancel my appointment. You just lost my trust. If I can't trust your staff how can I trust you?

Rating should be less than one star! My family will be filing a complaint against Dr. Moaven with the NJ Medical Board for medical misconduct and unprofessisonalism. Arrogant and out of line in patient interaction.

I love his associate Ray, he is more personable and accurate in diagnosing a condition.
