Dr. Nadine Alexandra Kindy-Baillot, MD

Rude and inconsiderate. Has me schedule unnecessary visits throughout the year; I believe there's a finacial interest involved.

Because of the change in John Muir's contract and the group of doctors who did not sign I am in the group of patients who could no longer see Dr. Kindy. I was called by staff who explained that they were trying to get permission to see me, but it did not get accepted, then I was given the opportunity or having an appt. for a lower amount of dollars. I did not accept. I finally found another Dr. I wrote a direct letter to Dr. Kindy, hoping she would reply but to date no reply. I have two operations with much success and I was so impressed with her, but all of a sudden my eyes changed. I did go and see another dr on her staff and was examined and told that there was a 40% change in my eyes. This was done by the assistant, and when the other dr. came into the room, nothing was said about my vision only my dry eyes. I was very upset about this and called her office and explained what happened and thought I should be seen by Dr. Kindy because of the poor result of my visit. I then… wrote to her, but as I already said she never has bothered to get in touch with me. I had the last visit one month prior to the end of the contract but because of the problem and the situation of my vision I really thought that Dr. Kindy would see me. She had always been very nice to me as well as my husband, but after being ignored by her all I can say is that I would never recommend her to anyone. Contract or no contract, I feel that she had a responsibility to me. She was the one who operated on my, who inserted the lens successfully, but when trouble enters the picture Dr. Kindy is no where to help. Sorry, but my thoughts of this woman/doctor are not that of a well respected professional person.

I made an appt. to get my eyes checked for contacts, a new prescription if necessary. I have worn contacts for over 40 years. After an hour, I was taken back and told that first they would have to give me a new prescription for GLASSES. I have spare glasses that work fine, and rarely use them. Finally they agreed to check my eyes and see if there were any changes needed and issue a new prescription for contacts. (I had my expired prescription copy with me and showed it to them). However, she told me that it was their policy NOT TO GIVE patients a copy of their prescriptions, and to require that all contacts be ordered thru their office only. I told them I fully intended to order the first pair (for which they were going to charge some 6 times the cost online or at WalMart) thru their office, but after that I might want a couple spare pairs (I wear gas permeable hard lenses) and wanted to be able to order those elsewhere. They said their policy was NO PRESCRIPTIONS for contacts EVER are… given to their patients. I let them know that this was illegal, and I just left. They were extremely nasty the entire time I was there.

She was very outspoken and rude to her staff in front of me and the waiting room. When I got into the room she seemed very judgemental and stern as if I had done something wrong. I felt very uneasy around her and felt as if she thought she was above me. I could hear her yelling at her nurse as she closed the door to my room behind her. I asked the front receptionist if she is always like this and she confirmed that she was. I told the receptionist to cancel the appointment made for me in the room. I would not wish that lady on my worst enemy! do not go here!
