I was referred to this doctor for problems with hypoglycemia. When I finally got a human on the phone she asked why I was referred and I told her. She immediately, rudely told me that the doc didn't see patients who don't have diabetes problems. Reading over these reviews that go back 10 years, I'm happy that I didn't make an appointment! If they are rude to my face or to someone else around me I might have had to put someone in their place. There's no place for that kind of behavior in a professional setting.

Walk - don't run - from this practice. Heavily focused on diabetes, with little understanding or focus on other issues, specifically women's hormonal challenges (the doctor insisted on referring to women with PCOS as "you ladies" over and over again, with a general "sorry about your luck" mentality around PCOS). I struggled with a PCOS diagnosis and subsequent management... The "solution" was to put me on diet pills (for being 10 lbs heavier than ideal) and not bother trying to find the root of the problem. The office is hostile at best and the entire staff needs an attitude adjustment. Good luck getting anyone on the phone in a timely fashion, and your time will not be respected (but they expect you to be okay with sitting and waiting for a provider for over an hour... there are Draconian notes all over indicating that you don't have a right to complain). If you live in the Atlanta area, you have a wealth of doctors at your disposal.... this practice doesn't need to be on that list.

Dr.Shenoy and Carolyn are very thorough.Im a registered nurse with high expectations of A Dr.,nurse practitioner and staff.They meet them all.

I needed to cancel an appointment and I called three times but no one called back. I left a message for someone to please call me that my Primary Care doctor had done my A1C. Robert called me said I was rude and that he was glad I found another doctor as I was not welcome in the practice. I guess one cannot tell anyone on the staff to please call you or they accuse you of being RUDE. Well let me tell you what I find RUDE; No one answers the phone--every call goes to voice mail. That is RUDE. I have a Cardiologist, Neurologist, Orthopedic Surgeon, Gastroenterologist, Hematologist all answer the phone during working hours I find it bad manners that they do you not reply to voice mail messages. That is RUDE. I find it RUDE that a front desk clerk can tell a patient that they are not welcome in the practice. That is RUDE. Power has gone to his head. He is after all a front desk clerk not the Nurse, PA, Doctor, or Nurse Practitioner. He was very Rude. What ever happened to the old… saying the client is always right? I wonder if Dr Shenoy actually knows how rude his staff are? I will not be going back, but not because Robert says so. I choose to go to Doctors that treat me with respect. I choose my Doctors and I choose to go to an office where the staff treat me professionally, with kindness. I choose, not a rude and thoughtless receptionist. I choose and that is my RIGHT! I choose not to be spoken to like he spoke to me. I am not fond of VERY RUDE people.

I wouldnt trust this doctor with my per. Extremely rude staff the front guy at desk was rude to my partner.When he called to reschedule note i had anmajor surgery amputation of the toe . Ihad no choice. The front desk guy told him i would have to pay over 50 bucks for no show thenhe would give 25 of it back he was very rude so i cursed him out and this docter sent me a letter letting me go. He said i had to be nice to staff and cooperative does that include the staff being rude to you .He dropped my insurance so i found a new doc. Had to go back in to sighn something for release of records for new doc. The fat girl blond behind the desk was a rude belittling u know what if i could say what i wanted to about the person i would. Dont waste your time with this vile office or sorry staff stay far awy dont even waste your time

Dr Shenoy is the best around here. He is on point with my treatment for diabetes. Staff very friendly. I give him a 5 stars

I honestly cannot believe that Dr. Shenoy allows his clients to be treated in such an unprofessional and appalling manner. As a doctor, he was not bad, not great either. His office staff is incredibly rude and beyond unprofessional, they seem to make up rules as they go and don't communicate said rules in any way unless it is belittling you. I witnessed first hand the behavior when Robert told a woman off for being late to her appointment. She left in tears. Robert also enjoys pushing his roleplay park club upon everyone that walks into the office. Point and case, he's allowed to post fliers in the office. The phlebotomist is also incredibly rude. I went in to have my blood drawn and was told after an hour and a half wait (fasting and breastfeeding twins) that they no longer took my insurance. She said they could send it to labcorp but I would have to pay for them to draw. Fine, I did. I went to her room and not another word was spoken to me. I went to use the restroom afterwards and… was told I had to use the public restroom in the building hallway. My double stroller does not fit in that handicap stall, and I explained that. I was told the restroom was only for lab patients. Hello, that's why I was there. Apparently, your insurance gets billed if you use their toilet. I ended up having to use the restroom in the hall with the stall door open so I could supervise my infants. Dr. Shenoy needs to get a grip on his practice and toss out the trash that is holding him back as a professional. I wouldn't recommend this office to my worst enemy. They are as useful as a football bat!!! (Football joke for the Steelers fan of a doctor, not that he reads his reviews.)

I am very happy that I was referred and selected to see Dr. Shenoy. He was right on the mark with his assessment of my situation and I was very impressed with his review and analysis of my visit. I was presented with a written report on his findings for me to have. He is very easy to relate to, he speaks to you in a very layman's term and I knew instantly from his experience and knowledge of the choices I was given he understood me. I felt very pleased with our choices and also the staff was very pleasant to work with and very impressed with their process through their website - Portal. Received updated notices of appointment.

Staff is RUDE and it appears to be okay for his practice as the same comments date back to several years.. must be the wages per hour
