Dr. Nalini A Yelamanchi, MD

For nearly 12 yrs Dr Y has been my PCP. Dr listens, she is intelligent, caring, thorough, etc. I know I’m in good hands with Dr Y. The staff is wonderful, always polite, patient & calming so many patients calling in with worries or questions.

Horrible doctor. Dismissed my mother from care with no explanation. Mom had metastasized cancer and needed her primary care physician. When i asked her to complete a form so i could transfer my mom to a new doctor they wanted to charge me $50. They were uncooperative and dismissed my mom during her time of need. Dr. Yelamanchi should be sued for abandonment of care. Horrible office.

Worse doctor ever. Will be submitting to the attorney General. Think what she does is malpractice. Mom had metastasized breast cancer (was original diagnosed with cancer 16 years ago - had double mastectomy), each visit the doctor would ask mom about why she hasnt had a mammorgram. Insensitive. Does not care. Does not read the chart. After being her doctor for 6 years, she sent a letter that she would no longer be able to see see my mom (76 years old with terminal breast cancer). No explanation, but said mom needed to find a new doctor right away because of her condition. (Mom was seeing a cancer specialist. Yelamanchi was her internist.) The Cancer specialist was no longer treating her all treatment options were complete. We were trying to move mom to assisted living and needed a TB test and needed one form to allow for the transfer completed by Yelamanchi. Her office refused because mom was not longer a patient. Now she is in hospice. Not that dr. yelamanchi could care… less. Her office staff are horrible and uncompassionate. Have never experiences such horrible care or customer service. Get out now before you are really sick. She will dump you in your time of need.

Staff is not friendly. Can be rude. Handled a few situations with me in a very unprofessional manner particularly when I expressed my concern about a dosage recommended to me. I don't know whether the assistant even consulted with the Dr after I expressed my concern but was told this is your dosage - find a new doctor. I was flabbergasted. This is not how you should treat a patient. I've seen the dr personally rarely so difficult to rate her on some of the experiences above. I don't like the way the office handles matters and treats their patients. My wait time could vary from 10+ minutes to over an hour just to get my blood checked.
