Dr. Namgyal Tsewang, MD

Like another reviewer, I was surprised to see the negative comments. In my experience, Dr. Tsewang is knowledgeable, pleasant and concerned. I've never had any communication problems.

I went to Dr. Tsewang in 2016 approx 5 times. She was agitated when she first walked into the room,complaining she has little time. She presses for me to have constant visits and has her secretary keep calling to say I must come in. (when I am not having any problems) She makes it known she does not approve of medications I have been prescribed by my long time specialists. She over blows my condition to a frightening extent. I should have reported her. I thought I was the only person who had this problem but I have seen there are many who feel the same.

I’ve seen Dr. Tsewang twice. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable. I am surprised to see negative comments on here because my experience was very positive.

Just had an appointment Dr. Tsewang - it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a Dr. She is absolutely RUDE, uninterested in your overall situation, and absolutely does NOT want you to be participative in your own care. She has zero knowledge in nutrition and actually gave out WRONG information. My husband and I were both appalled at her ghastly beside manner. I highly recommend you stay away from this Dr.

I am 81. On our third visit after 3 specialist referrals to assess my health status, her parting words were "I usually see my senior patients every 3 months ... I am very busy".

I was very discouraged by Dr. Tsewang. Being a new patient I told her that I had not seen a Dr. in 3 years, she scolded me. She treated me like a child & without respect. She barely introduced herself, she asked 3 times 'you don't know when your last blood test was?', she was overwhelmed by my needs, she said â??she didn't know me as a patientâ??, she was judgmental rather than concerned with my medical concerns, she was not patient with my not understanding her thick accent. I was very confused and put off by her treatment of me and I was uncomfortable in her presence as she is rather tightly wound. I will share my opinion, I will not be back, and I certainly will not recommend her.
