Dr. Nancy Klein Bailowitz, MD

Seeing the Doctor is a waste of time: the Doctor never tells me anything I didn't already know. Whenever I ask about a problem, she often denies the existence of the problem. When she doesn't do this, she instead lists the two or three most common problems that someone of my demographic or age group faces and insists that my problem is one of them. Spoiler: it generally isn't. But I have to figure that out myself every time. Also, the Doctor expects me to obey her every word without explaining why I should do so, which is very frustrating. Moreover, the staff are rude: they provide very confusing instructions and become impatient when you don't fully understand.

It's not a good thing when your nutritionist diagnoses you with an auto-immune disorder and your internist (Dr. Bailowitz) tells you she knew you had it but never told you that you had an auto-immune disorder. It's also not a good thing when your internist thinks getting certain blood work done to ascertain the disorder is "hokey". I don't trust her.

Excellent Dr. Always returns calls and office staff is courteous and prompt in returning calls. I have several health issues and she has been extremely helpful.

She is an awesome physician. I've been with her since 2008. She is very thorough and personable.

Very organized and courteous staff. Doctor does not seem so knowledgeable. Need to ask many questions for the doctor to answer/think about. Does not bother explaining things unless you specifically ask. Very difficult to make appointments.

I recently had a new patient appointment with Dr. Bailowitz. I found her to be very attentive and caring. Her office staff was very friendly. My overall experience was wonderful and I look forward to having Dr. Bailowitz as my internist for many years to come!

Dr.Bailowitz is caring and she is very thorough. She is very busy so sometimes it is difficult to get an appt but it is worth the hassle as she is such a fine physician.

my comments are basically the same as above. To put it in a nutshell, I called to make an appt for a physical and the first appt. avail was 3 months from that date. My husband had been in an emergency room for a life threatening illness and couldn't get an appt or speak to any dr. for 5 min.!!!

I find this doctor excellent both in terms of diagnostic skills and apporaochability

Medical knowledge is useless in a patient doctor relationship if your doctor is unapproachable, none empathic, seemingly prejudice, judgmental, and not concern. I listen very closely to Dr. Baliowitz words on several visits to her office, as she made me feel this way about her. she was not very encouraging, or optimistic as she discussed my health. I am still alive even though in her prediction verbalized to me, I am dead. Primary care Doctors should be available for their patients, both physically and emotionally, I feel she is not, and the office staff will let the phone ring unanswered or leave you on hold for over 10 minutes. The office staff can speak pleasant if you get a chance to speak to them, but their customer service needs work. Both Doctor and support staff at this office need a week long customer service seminar STAT! **Make your appointment after the seminar has successfully been completed by all.
