Dr. Nancy L Brown, MD

With Dr Brown, I finally feel like I have a good diagnosis and a clear healing path forward. She presents the path in a step by step methodical way to get me where I need to go. I've been working with her for a few months now and am seeing improvement already. I'm certainly feeling better! Dr Brown specializes in people with chronic Lyme, MCAS, histamine reactions, mold and other chronic illnesses other doctors don't know how to treat let alone diagnose. I've been sick since 2010 and have done a lot of healing, but I haven't been able to heal completely. I can't tolerate medication or supplements and during the first session Dr Brown very quickly was able to pinpoint my issues root causes. I now know excipients are causing a lot of my issues and already have seen my reactions change with this simple knowledge from her! Dr Brown is exceptional with educating me what is going on. I feel her compassionate energy and desire to truly help me. She has excellent traditional medical… training, but her own healing journey really informs her in ways beyond any training can do. She's lived the issues! I had severe Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome that nearly killed me. I have healed that, but still struggle with some medication reactions that prevent me from getting surgery to replace my hip. Working with Dr Brown I am planning on getting my hip replaced in the next year or two! Beyond that, I'll be able to regain and age much more healthfully! Dr Brown doesn't do things like a regular doctors office (the first session is 2 hours long and that's after turning in all your paperwork). She takes time to find out all the parts to get to the bottom of the root causes to really help me. She is truly a partner and Servant Leader on my healing journey. I love having remote sessions. She isn't a "one size fits all" doctor, she provides a very customized approach to address MY needs. For the first month of working with Dr Brown, there was a lot of testing. LOVE that because insightful, knowledgeable testing is getting me closer to my goal of healing! I'm excited to keep debriefing my tests. Next up is a genetics test and an OATS test! I am deeply committed to healing and my health. I will do anything to heal and feel good. Chronic illness sucks, but I know it's not who I am. My insurance doesn't cover anything I need to support my healing or healthcare currently. It's so worth it to get quality help like Dr Brown. She is the one that is helping me get complete healing for my issues, not just treating symptoms. I make my health a priority and dedicate a lot of my time and income to making it happen so I can keep functioning and keep healing. I'm so lucky to be able to work with Dr Brown! I'm so thankful to have found her.

I am so thrilled to have finally found a Dr. who is caring & listens. It's so nice to be treated as a person & not a patient #. I will no longer dread seeing the Dr. ;)

I've never had a hard time making an appointment and Dr. Brown has always followed up with me. I know she has a small practice, so I am sure that people fall through the cracks. I always make a morning appointment so I don't have to wait long to see her. Dr. Brown is extremely knowledgeable and looks for root causes instead of treating symptoms with pills. Highly recommended.

Dr. Brown was fine as a doctor and seemed to know about medical issues, but her organizational skills are horrendous. Every single time I've gone in for an appointment, she kept me waiting for an average of 35 minutes. She would always make some excuse about a patient who was late for an appointment. I understand this happens once in awhile, but not every single time.Also, I waited for her to get back to me about test results and she never did. I called her office repeatedly over the course of two weeks and was told that she'd get back to me by the end of the day. She never did. I finally had to give up and see another doctor because she could not be reached. It was a very strange and disappointing experience.

She's incredibly patient and she listens very carefully to everything I had to say. I felt respected and cared about. She treated me like an intelligent person who is part of the process of treatment, not like some idiot whose opinion (about her own body!) doesn't matter. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent doctor with fantastic credentials and great bedside manner.

I met Dr. Brown at an emergency-care clinic while I was in the midst of a health crisis. She immediately put me at ease, quickly diagnosed me correctly, and wrote down easy-to-understand instructions to help me get through the next few days. I have seen many doctors in my life, especially as I have moved frequently. Without a doubt, Dr. Brown is the best and most competent doctor I've ever seen. I highly recommend her, especially if you are interested in holistic healthcare options. She gave me more information in a short span of time than I had been able to find on my own through a span of years. She also takes the time to get to know her patients, and she spends more time in each appointment than any other doctor I've seen previously. It's rare enough to find a great doctor, but a bonus is that her receptionist/assistant Lois is also very warm and gracious.
