Dr. Nancy Kathryn Edwards, PhD

I happened to see one other review for Nancy Edwards and didn't want that to be the only available review for her! My ex encouraged me to find a therapist as I was having lots of struggles. I had no idea where to go but I ended up finding Dr. Edwards on a website for LGBTQI therapists. People that I talked to told me not to expect a match on my first attempt, that you often need to try out more than one and to just not give up. My first appointment confirmed that she was the perfect match for me. I instantly felt the most amazing peaceful energy in her space and in her presence. She made it incredibly easy to talk to her. I didn't expect to find someone that would generally care, but I honestly felt that she did. Her advice and her thoughts and wisdom are still with me today and I appreciate her so very much.

She ate her lunch (chili) with her shoe-less feet propped up on the desk, leaning back in the chair as I opened up about past abuse and was crying. She mocked my mannerisms in another session as well as my Catholic faith. Can't believe Hazelden would employ someone like her. She's no longer there
