Dr. Nancy Fawzy Mansour-Habib, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Habib for 14 years. She is an excellent doctor and I would not be here if not for her. I had respiratory failure right after she ordered me to go to the ER. I would have not been in this situation if I had listened to her. I wish I had but at least I'm still here. She always refers me to specialists I need to see, spends time with me, I can call and ask questions, get my prescriptions renewed over the phone and I love her. My husband also goes to her and feels the same way. No I am not a friend or a relative but I am a fan.

Cervical Radiculopathy, C4 to C7 (degeneration of the disc & vertebras in the spine of the neck) is my fiancés diagnoses, thus her spinal disc’s were replaced with spacers between C4 to C7 then those vertebras were fused together with a metal plate. 3 months after the operation, her surgeon relieved himself of any continued care even though the operation did not eliminate her pain. We moved to a new home and sought out a new primary care doctor. I mostly only write praiseful reviews, “But” I have never experienced direct prejudice from a care physician like what my fiancé had to endure from Dr. Nancy F Mansour-Habib. Dr. Nancy insisted, and demanded she knew my fiancé’s pains & ailments better than the patient did; therefore, the treatment presented was a dangerous blood pressure drug (for her high blood pressure exclusively caused by pain), and a prescription to see a psychologist. And oh yeah, my fiancé was treated like a child “one who is to be seen and not heard”; regardless of… how hard my love fought to be heard and helped. Dr. Nancy made no attempt to diagnose “why she was in pain”. This kind of treatment from a CARE Physician, I consider abusive because of the arguments they got in which should never happen, and the elevated stress - instead of - compassionate CARE, and her ignorance of only treating the symptoms of pain - with dangerous drugs, instead of diagnosing and treating the pain. This abuse left us no other choice but to self treat with alcohol in an attempt to numb the pain, and repeated trips to the emergency room for pain relief and other medical conditions caused by the alcohol which exposed our attempts to self treat the pain; and now my fiancé has on her medical records that she abused alcohol “with no emphases for pain relief”. After 5 attempts in trying to get Dr. Nancy to help, which failed, we searched for another primary care physician. This gentleman actually had empathy for her pain and concern about finding the cause; and on the first visit he prescribed an MRI of her cervical spine which is her site of pain. The MRI report described “mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing” which is a narrowing of a cannel in the vertebrae the nerve root passes through causing compression on the nerve root which in no way equates “mild pain”. Her new primary care doctor also found a good neurologist, a good pain management doctor, and with some control of the pain she is now seeing a therapist. Her new primary care physician also diagnosed her with hyperthyroidism and 3 nodules on her thyroid. A biopsy of a nodule uncovered that her spine surgeon injured her thyroid during surgery and caused it to go hyper which intensifies any “existing pain levels”. What a mess, ha? And all Dr. Nancy offered my baby is shame for needing pain relief treatment which was based off of absolutely NO FACTS or diagnosis. One last thing, we went in to discuss the MRI report with the new primary doctor and his demeanor toward us was like that of Dr. Nancy - all over again. He told me I didn’t have a right to be in the room, and he refused to give anything either of us asked or said any merit; so I left the room. His Dr. Nancy like demeanor continued after I left the room, and my baby asked him at the end of the appointment if he had talked with Dr. Nancy, and he replied, YES. The proof that Dr. Nancy had a negative influence on my baby’s new primary doctor is the doctor never said one word about the MRI report, and that was the main reason and only reason for the appointment. Instead he made her feel ashamed for needing help and that devastated her. But by the time this happened the proper care was already set in motion with all her other specialist physicians; and today, her specialist doctors are working hard with compassionate care to help her get her life back. If you’re reading this Dr. Nancy, you have no right to be a Doctor, and that’s because you think your title overrules a patients’ rights - to ask questions - to expect respectful replies to their questions, and most vital - every patient has a right to disagree with their doctor without being bullied. So find another job where you are not in contact with the care of people because you totally missed the empathy boat, Dr. Nancy!

I went for emergency pain she didn't do anything she didn't describe medication for me after that I went to emergency room and they take care of me

I've been with Dr. Mansour-Habib for eight years now and I've been very happy with her services.

Very unhappy with the office staff and the doctor, I have switched to another Doctor and its the best thing I did.

Their office is not always opened when it's suppose to be. I have tried for last 4 days to call and can't even get an answering machine to take a message. Rather bothersome.
