Dr. Nancy Mechelle Medina, MD

She is rude, uncaring, and condescending. Before I even entered the room I was told she was a “stickler” and I shouldn’t tell her my other symptoms about my back hurting and need to choose to speak about that or my sore throat. While I was waiting in the room I could hear her and others talking about patient tests including my own. I knew I had strep before she even entered the room! During the conversation with me, she actually opened the door to shout out to another employee about another patient’s urine test and that they could go home (no names were used, however, this is absolutely unprofessional and she should have excused herself from the room). She also had a student working with her and I hope he does not believe that behaving like that is acceptable. I would think that she would want to treat the WHOLE patient and not what is convenient for her. I knew that the back problem was a chronic issue that was exacerbated, but I thought she could at least give me suggestions about… which OTC medicine would work best for the sciatica pain and not interact with my strep throat medication.

Changes medicine too often even if what you take has been working well.

I have been going to Dr. Nancy Piper for the past year and have had a wonderful experience. She is an excellent physician, compassionate, and will go out of her way to assist her patients in any way she can. She takes the time to listen to your needs. I have worked in the medical field for a long time and Dr. Piper is one of the very BEST physicians I have ever had. I would recommend her highly to anyone (child, adult). You will be so glad that you gave her a call, I promise!!!

I was extremely relieved after seeing Dr. Piper. After relocating to Jacksonville, I thought I wouldn't find a doctor that I liked easily. She is very caring and very good at her job.
