Dr. Nancy Fairbanks Radden, MD

Dr. Radden is a great doctor I believe! I have not been seeing her for too long but when I first met her, she was very comforting when I was explaining my anxiety to her and did not make me feel uncomfortable and was very helpful and informative with questions. She is also very funny which makes going to the Dr a little less stressful.

I had an ankle injury that bothered me for over 2 months. When I asked for her to refer me to a specialist to get an MRI, she was dismissive and instead wanted to sign me up for full-time physical therapy. Im not going to pretend to be a doctor, but that cant be standard procedure. I insisted that I got the MRI and it came back as a bad strain on the ligaments and the specialists told me to rest it as long as possible. Dr. Radden was insistent that I started physical therapy immediately. I believe it would have caused more damage had I followed through with her advice. I get a pretty good read on people once I meet them and I just got the sense from the minute I walked in that office, that she just did not care about me personally. This is a new experience since my last Doctor was very personable. She's not terrible, but I would not recommend her to anyone.

I switched from my pediatrician who essentially stopped helping me, to Dr. Radden. She made me feel comfortable, related to me on a personal level, and spent what felt like plenty of time with me. I did not feel rushed. On further appointments, she continued to explain things in medical terms (I work in healthcare) and didn’t make me feel like I was being dummied down to. She always covers her bases and leaves me relieved about whatever problem I’m having.

I specifically stated to Harvard I would take my family who has been with certain doctors with them for over 25 years elsewhere if they insisted on Nancy Radden being listed as my primary care who was thrown on my info when another doctor left their practice. Choose her if you want subpar care and want to be treated like cattle. She is rude, treats her patients indignant and 3 family members won’t even go to her as well as some family friends we discussed her with. She Told my daughter who was anemic in pregnancy the Dr that treated her was wrong. She went to her because she was still feeling fatigued went to check her iron levels and said that the other doctor didn’t know what he was talking about! She was never anemic? So she bad mouths other Drs her say is only say! She did the same to me with my arthritis diagnosis from a specialist! She needs either training on how to deal with public because she is extremely rude or go back to school because she provides poor level of service!… They state she is only Dr taking patients and I wonder why - Her care is horrible. Brushed off my symptoms years ago and treated me nasty as if in my head only to be later be diagnosed with autoimmune disease by 2 specialists that I initially questioned her about! The wait time to see her in office is extensive as well keeps you waiting in exam room forever. I asked to see the NP instead of her but the office reverts you back to have to see her even though I specifically said I will seek other care elsewhere if forced to see her. So after 25 yrs of patronage to Harvard I now am seeking new care after speaking to a rep in administration as their response is sorry have to see her! patients obviously are of little concern to them if that’s how they treat long standing patients.

This doctor talked about herself more than she focused on me as her patient. It was ridiculous and frightening.

Pretty much useless. Doesn't care about finding out what is wrong with you. Time to find a new doctor....

dr radden has no beside manner at all.she had her nurse give me a call to tell me i have cancer. what dr in there right mind does this? The nurse told me on a friday night and didnt give me any details. What Dr Radden did was wrong and I will never go back to her again. She only cares about a paycheck and not her patients.

She one of the only Doctors I have ever felt confortable. The staff is also very kind & warm.

I am very pleased with my primary care physician, Dr. Nancy Radden. I find her to be smart, attentive and always up to date on current therapies. Her "bedside manner" is wonderful. She is very nice, but she is also very firm when she needs to be.

Dr. Radden is a wonderful doctor. She listens to her patients and gets a sense of the whole person. She is conservative about treatment, always taking the least invasive and extreme measures to start.
