Dr. Nancy Beth Sherrod, PhD

In my opinion Nancy Sherrod is by far the most incompetent psychologist I have experienced. Very wishy washy. Says one thing does another. Very poor communication skills. I believe she practices outside of hèr scope of abilities . I experienced more trauma with her because she did not communicate things very well and offered things but never followed through. I saw hèr for over a year and then she decided to terminate without due cause and blamed the client me without asking if I felt I was getting better. I believe she did this after I got mad at her for promising me something that she offered which I made clear not to do if she can't follow through. When she did not and I got upset I believe she could not own her mistake nor apologize. Instead it was easier for her to get rid of me than to hear me out. This way she could shame and blame the client rather than look at her mistakes and take responsibility. This caused more damage than ever. So she added to my issues by… doing this. This is where I feel.she is highly incompetent as a psychologist or therapist or counselor. I think you should pass on her and find someone that has integrity. I was fooled by her in the beginning and when I started to take my power back and stand up for self or to speak about my anger or feelings she bailed and could not take responsibility for incompetence. Go find a bettér more experienced person. I should file a grievance against this person.
