Dr. Nancy T Skehan, MD

shes a great doctor when you actually get the chance to see her, i have had Dr Skehan for about 2 years and i've only seen her once maybe twice, she needs to see her patients more often than that! i hate seeing a doctor who doesn't know me but then again she doesn't either because i'm always seeing an associate of hers! thinking about changing my pcp!

Dr.Skehan is a good doctor who is honest and listens. The only problem I have is getting in to see her when I am sick. She is booked pretty solid for months and when you get sick, you most often end up having to see another doctor at UMASS who does not know you. UMASS needs to allot free time for each doctor so they may see their own patients when sick.

Dr. Skehan is kind, compassionate but maybe a bit too conservative. She always listens, and tells you when she does not know. I wish however, she would do a bit more testing before recommending you see a specialist. I respect her opinion and she has guided me through some difficult times. It is difficult ot get an urgent appointment but you will always be seen by someone at UMASS if you need to be seen.
