Dr. Nancy Alice Turner, MD

I have seen a lot of OB/GYNs over the years and I love Dr. Turner. She listens, recommends options based on my preferences, and also provides information that is helpful.

Poor bedside manner. Treated me with disgust and literally hurt me during the examination. I rarely make comments but I would stay away from her.

Unbelievable. I go to these people for almost 4 years and this is how it ends. Rest assured, after this I will never be going back. I got an infection in a very personal area that is easily treatable. I called in to get the prescription filled and they added another product to help with the symptoms. After using this topical medication for about a week, I realized it was not working. I called my pharmacist to ask a few questions and they told me they have never filled this particular prescription for this type of infection before. I then contacted the manufacture of the product and they did indeed confirm that this was prescribed for "off label" use. I then contacted a Women's Place to inquire as to why they would prescribe this and after leaving countless messages over the next 3 weeks, I finally got a response. The denied that they prescribed this for "off label" use and that they prescribe this medication for this type of infection to many women. They refused to acknowledge that… I had gotten confirmation from the pharmacist and the manufacture of the product that this product is not intended for this type of infection and refused to give me a refund, even after I told them that if I had had a serious reaction to the medication, I could have sued. I even tried contacting the manager of the clinic and heard nothing back. I even took this issue to the Better Business Bureau and they STILL refused to work with me on this issue. I no longer trust the judgement of the doctors and nurses of this clinic. I will never be going back.

Dr. Turner rushes. She does not take the time to go over very key information and is pushing you out the door five minutes after she enters the room. This is the third time that she has done this to me. She comes across as annoyed while trying to be polite and rather burnt out. I told her I was beginning to plan for a family and she didn't even discuss the matter with me. She didn't ask what medicines I was taking or anything. She said she'd see me in 6 months if I didn't get pregnant before that and good luck. ....she mentioned that I had HPV on the way out the door and peaced out. I had to go back into the office and ask her more questions about that because she tells you nothin

I saw Dr. Turner for about 2 years. I finally quit because she is just so rude. She is judgmental, asks inappropriate questions - not about your health, but about stuff that has nothing to do with anything. Her manner is very brusque - like she might rather be somewhere else doing something else. She may or may not be a good gynecologist, but I got tired of feeling like scum when I left her office. I found someone else and am getting better service at a lower price.
