I was extremely disappointed with Dr. Nanda Venu . All I can say is at least he ordered a MRI. Did he ever review that is questionable. After waiting 10 days for any kind of results. I emailed through the portal and asked when the results would be in. And then I received a copy of the results. ???? Is that normal procedure's for Virginia Mason? I actually expected a call to explain it for to me. I did receive a call dfrom a scheduler to make a appointment with a pancreas specialist later that day. The scheduler tried their best to explain the results to me. Again is the normal for Virginia Mason? Very disappointed

During my first appointment with Dr. Venu, he continually forgot what I was saying, up to the point of asking me "what pain?" after I had mentioned chronic joint pain multiple times. In an effort to diagnose mysterious GI issues and pain, I had a CT scan. I never received any contact with interpretation of these results; rather, I just got a call from a scheduler who asked me to come in for an endoscopy. When talking to me as I was preparing for the procedure, Dr. Venu expressed surprise that I'd "asked" to do this, and I told him it was due to his recommendation, and I was only here because his scheduler had asked me to make the appointment. After the endoscopy, all he was able to tell me was that my stomach was irritated. I could have told you that. Demoralized, I did not return to seek further medical treatment for 9 months. I just decided to live with my pain. Today, I saw a new provider who took a moment to review the CT scan Dr. Venu had ordered. My stomach was distended, and… 5x the size it should be. This was why Dr. Venu had ordered the endoscopy, to check for a blockage. I had never been informed of any of this, and was absolutely shocked to see my imaging. It is still unclear what has caused this, and I never received any follow up or options for further treatment or investigation from Dr. Venu. I DO NOT recommend seeing this provider for diagnostic work, or help in managing a chronic condition. The communication from Dr. Venu and Virginia Mason was so terrible, I almost went to an entirely different healthcare system. Thankfully, I have since found a better healthcare team within the VM system.
