Dr. Nanette Chua Fonte, MD

Dr. Chua brings a laptop into your exam room and types on it more than she talks to you. She's inappropriate in her bluntness at times and in the way she handles physcial exams. She won't speak to you, just take hold of your arms to move you down or up on the exam table. Then will wash her hands so intently, likes she's been infected after touching you. She lacks the ability to listen, to the point that I had to leave because I felt unsafe under her care. She'd given me a RX that had upped the level of another drug I was already taking to the point of toxicity. I was angry and irritatable all the time as a side effect of that. When I tried to speak to her about that and open a conversation about a possible drug interaction, she told me I should go see Mental Health about my anger issues.All of that said, I will say that she's very young and may improve her people/dr. skills over time. She's obviously intelligent. But I feel she needs to apply that intelligence toward patient welfare.… And develop the ability to view the patient in her exam room as a human being. One who's health issues can be complex and not solved by giving another RX for each symptom and then not be able or willing to delve into whether or not all of the RXs are causing problems with one another and making the patient worse rather than better.

This was one of the worst experiences ever had with a doctor. The lack of maturity, knowledge and overall unprofessional conduct was stunning.
