Dr. Naomi Lee Chaney, MD

If I could give this Doctor's office zero stars I would. We showed up to our appointment, filled out 20 pages of paperwork just to later be told, The Doctor is having car issues and can't seem to get an Uber. Who can't get an Uber in Las Vegas? It was Christmas Eve, the doctors office had plenty of time to reschedule the appointment but instead we get that excuse. Reading through all the reviews, half seem to be about the rude office staff and the other half seem to be about the Dr. cancelling or not showing up to work. People need healthcare and for an office to run so inefficiently with a we don't really care attitude is horrible. If this was a one time incident with my family members I wouldn't be writing this review, however, this is the 3rd incident in the past five months of last minute cancellation or not showing up. Thankfully we were able to find a doctors office who was taking new patients quickly so my family could get the healthcare needed.

Dr. Chaney is great and has always taken time to listen to me & has diagnosed several complicated issues correctly. She takes time to talk with me about my health issues. Recently I have been very frustrated trying to see her, contact the office directly, especially after I have already been to Quick Care or the ER. I have been a patient for many years, but accessibility is becoming an issue. Since Dr. Chaney does spend time with you & your concerns, you may have some wait time.

Doctor Chaney is good as a doctor spend good amount of time explaining things with the patient, but prepare to wait at least 1 hour outside and another 25-45 mins in the room, hard to get an appointment for any imergency. If you have any issue regarding any billing or request any copy of your medical record just forget it you never going to get it, call numerous of time was told different story every time doctor doing everything so therefore the staff just take a message. Requested my medical record first person said 5-7 business days call to follow up few times was told they will inform the doctor and call you back which never did, called again and was told they don’t send medical record due to my accident doctor don’t treat accident patient? The point is just say that the first time then I don’t have to wait 1 month then get nothing. Worst place to deal with.

Dr. Chaney has patients waiting over an hour after having a set appointment. This is ridiculous.

Had a scheduled appt for 2:00, walked in at 1:35. Was informed they would not see me as I didnt arrive 30 minutes prior. Seriously like 5 minutes is gonna make a difference. They had already tried to cancel an appt that I had made over a month in advance the day prior. Something was up, they just didnt have time & the girls in the front office were rude & look down at you. They made a scene in front of everyone else sitting in the lobby area. Mind you they didnt even say anything about the guy that was sprawled out over three chairs laying down in the lobby, but made a scene over me. As for the Dr, I wanted to speak with her regarding the gals that handle the front office, but she had another gal come out & I was asked to leave. Cant leave anything negative about the Dr, but the girls in the front office were the absolute worst!

Dr. Chaney provides one with quality medical care and you can rest assured if you are a patient in her practice. Dr. Chaney as well as her dedicated staff give you their undivided attention when you come in for your appointment or call with a question.

I have been more than happy with Doctor Chaney...I think she is awesome. She is very thorough and a great bed side manner.

Dr. Chaney seems to be competent, however her front desk and customer service destroys her image. I don't know how that happened, but after collecting my blood at her office for a normal checkup, guess what happened they lost my lab records. They know I've collected blood there for the exam, but her very competent employees made me a favor to lose my records. Or worse, they've possibly replaced my records into someone else's name. Never back !!!

I'm in shock right now. Never ever have I been to a dr. that turned me away being 5 minutes late. Obviously Dr. Naomi Chaney has no idea about people and how to run a business. I drove all the way across town that was supposed to be a 30 min drive and it turned into a 45 min drive with lights and traffic. My first time ever going to her office and they didn't give me one ounce of courtesy. 5 min late. I have never even heard of a Dr turning someone away like that. I can see if I was 10, 15 min late. Let me put it this way if she could not see me being 5 min late then I would say she is greedy and has way to many patients. She doesn't give a crap about patient care.

I've visited Dr Chaney's office 3 times in the last year. While it is true that she does have a lovely bedside manner, her office staff is unfriendly, inefficient, unorganized, and you can add the office billing department to the list of downers. While there, I did have to update my insurance info in their new ipad type system. During a follow up visit, I noticed that all my info had reverted back to the old info. I then went through the update processes a second time and made sure to let her staff know that I had done so and to please check that all info was updated. I was assured that it was and that they had a copy of my ins and ID cards. Months later, I get a bill in the mail from the office showing a claim had been made and denied by my old insurance company. I then called the office and they tried to tell me that I had to fix it. I disputed this instruction sharing all the effort I had made to avoid this situation and was told that Dr Chaney said they would take care of it.… Months later, then same bill to the old insurance company. This time I went to the office in person. At that time I was told that it would be taken care of after watching the office staff talk to someone in their billing department. A month later, I have the same issue. It's insanely disappointing that this office can't keep straight such a routine function like billing. I used to refer friends or anyone who asked for a good Dr to Dr Chaney and I can no longer do this in good conscience. In fact, I feel awful for having referred anyone to a place with such horrid customer service. They don't care to get it right there and it's not worth the stress when you go there to stay healthy.
