Dr. Naomi Jane Cook, MD

Dr cook has been very kind and sensitive to my past bad experiences with the medical profession. She is very patient, considerate and you can tell she really cares.

Dr. Cook takes such good care of me as an individual. I am having trouble with my thyroid meds and she is willing to continue to tweek it until it is right for me. Being a Direct Primary Care model of practice helps with her flexibility with me. Love it!

Dr. Cook is an amazing doctor. She truly listens to what I have to say and is so patient, she is always available when I need her via phone, email or even an appointment the day of! I would recommend her to anyone and do!

I'm a truck driver, 30 years under my belt, a very unhealthy profession. I have seen more than I can remember, forgot even more, met more than a few bad hombres, and I am proud to say that Dr Cook is my primary care physician. I am a member of the Your Choice Direct Care in Brighton MI. Again, Doctor Cook is my primary care physician, and she is doing a bang up job. Dr Cook diagnosed and set me on the right path to recovery. What the other doctors, when I had insurance, who were to busy keeping up to date with all of the Obamacare regulations, totally missed my thyroid condition, Dr Cook DID NOT. She has done more for me health wise in a few weeks than those Obamacare doctors I used to have. She is very polite, no clue on those other reviews, and she has been nothing but professional and kind to myself and family. Trust me, I'm a truck driver, I know an attitude, I don't see that with Dr Cook. When I need to see her, I get an appointment, always the day I call. When I… email her, I get a reply back the same day. The office staff, top notch. I need tests, bang, she is on it and I have yet to wait longer than two days for any off site diagnostic tests needed, including a biopsy. Pharmacy, it is in the office. If you even knew what I paid for my BP medication, due to my thyroid, you would fall over. Since becoming a patient of Dr Cook's, I am not only on my way to recovery from several years of bad doctoring with Insurance, but I have saved literally thousands upon thousands of dollars. Bravo to Dr Cook!

I have been a pt of Dr. Cooks for awhile now. She is extremely understanding and willing to spend the time to talk to you about your concerns. I love the fact I can email the office with any questions I have. When I was really sick she would check up on me to see how I was doing. Not many Doctors are like that and I also like that there is never a wait to get in.

I am a patient of Dr. Naomi Cook. I transferred to her from a geriatric practice with U of M that just didn't have time for me anymore. I went from feeling that I was getting basically no care to the assurance that I have all the care I need and more! Dr. Cook is in a new practice model called Direct Primary Care. She spends lots of time with me in our visits and just takes wonderful care of me! I highly recommend making Dr. Cook your doctor too!

I'm an older lady and she took the time to ensure what was being prescribed was the correct medicine to help. She was very kind and thorough.

She is very condescending and refuses to consider or examine anything other than what you mentioned when you scheduled the appointment. She asks you about your health history and then completely disregards it if she believes that she knows more about you than you do. I would reccomend going to any other doctor in this practice but her.

I was taken back by her curt almost military demeaner. She must have commented 3 times we were running over allotted time for a basic physical. Expressed no interest in me or an emergency visit this summer. Maybe it's me but I need a few people skills in a physician. Won't be returning. Dr Cook would better serve science behind a microscope. Treating people this way is a mental health hazard. Her office staff and assistants were wonderful.

Worst doctor ever, worst human being ever, if she is even human! Extremely rude and cold, doesn't even make eye contact. She misdiagnosed my pneumonia for a common cold and condescendingly insinuated that I was being a wimp. Sent me home telling me to take acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Next day, I ended up in ER where they ran tests and took a chest xray, clearly showing pneumonia and I had to take short term disability from work. When I asked her to fill out some paperwork, she snapped at me and asked why she had to do that. I explained to her that she, as my physician, was required to do so. Unbelieveable! She should be locked up!
