Dr. Naomi Nakao, MD

She is brilliant, caring, attentive, lovely! I have n very experienced any doctor like her. Will never go to anyone else, explains in great detail, takes her time, thorough. Loved my experience with her.

To say I'm an avid fan of Dr. Nakao's is by far an understatement. I've been one of Dr. Nakao's patients for over 15 years. Dr. Nakao has taught me the importance of changing my diet and exercising more. Thank GOD i'm not on any medication for anything. High fiber is imperative for me. Dr. Nakao Saw me 5 years ago because I had terrible pain in my stomach. She found that I had an ulcer. I don't know what she did, or how she did it, but she was so kind and attentive that I relaxed right away eventhough I was so frightened when I first came. When she exmined me, she was so gentle when she examined my abdomen. The next day, my pain went away, and I never felt it again. I swear that it is because she put her hands on me. Dr. Nakao has magic hands. I send everyone I know to her, and everyone I send to her loves her.

Dr. Nakao is the most amazing physician that I have ever been to. I came to see her with abdominal pain, she felt a mass in my abdomen, and diagnosed an aortic aneurism within one day. I was operated onwithin 24 hours, and my life was saved. If the operation would not have taken place, the aneurism could have burst, and I would not have survived. God bless Dr. Nakao!

Dr. Nakao saved my life. I went to see her as a gastroenterologist, but she did a complete physical exam, so complete that even my PCP did not do, and she found a lump in my breast, and discovered that I had breast cancer. I will never forget her! Also, her office is beautiful, it is like a home. She is right across the Met, and has all the bart books from the Met in her office. It is really a pleasure to go to her.

Dr. Nakao is the most professional, caring people I know. Any Gastroenterologist can do an endoscopy or colonoscopy but hers are different. She is a caring and compassionate person who puts you at ease and talks you through all your procedures.You are in the best of hands when she is your doctor!

Dr. Nakao is an amazing person, and a more amazing doctor. I came to her for a colonoscopy, and because she did such a thorough physical examination, she found a mass in my breast, and found that I had breast cancer. I went for an operation, and she saved my life. She also did a colonoscopy on my and took out 3 polyps. My mother had colon cancer, and if it were not for Dr. Nakao's care, I probably would have it too. There are no more doctors like her around!

Dr. Naomi Nakao is the best doctor I ever will have. She is so dedicated to her profession. She spends time getting to know her patients, and gets a complete history, and does a thorough physical exam. She is a great endoscopist. I never felt a thing when she did my colonoscopy at the Kips Bay Endoscopy Center. Dr. Nakao is an Associate Professor at Albert Einstein and Beth Israel, and is an inventor of medical devices. The Nakao Snare being marketed, it is a snare that both cuts and retrieves polyps. She has 82 patents, and is a genious, a renessainse woman. I thank God for Dr. Nakao.
