Dr. Narinder Sandhu, MD

Do not expect to get adequate healthcare from this incompetent person. She is uneducated in chronic illness such as fibromyalgia. If you mention stress at work she automatically assumes you don't want to go to work. She assumed I wasn't working for some reason when I am. She made a lot of assumptions and refused to help me. She does not think fibromyalgia is real and did not even look at my record to see that I was diagnosed with it previously, and literally rolled her eyes at me when I told her about it. I drove 30 minutes for no help and to be mistreated. She is uneducated, and lives in the stone age. She needs to be re-educated or to have her license taken away. Completely disappointing in every way. She also assumed I was depressed when I didn't say that.

Although the law requires that appointments be made within 10 days in California when a patient has an ongoing medical condition, Sandhu's office just ignores patients. They never called me back and refused to make an appointment. When I complained to the medical group and insurance company, THEY LIED. They just straight up told the insurance company that they had given me another number to call for an appointment which was not true. Don't go anywhere near these people.

I was referred to this Dr. By the ER because she is one of the few that accept straight medi-cal. She did not listen to a single word I had to say. And made very rude comments. One in particular was that i have to "be in a relationship to be happy" she even asked if I ever thought about getting back with my ex husband of 6 years. She didnt know anything about my personal life to ask such a question and make such statements. She could have even said things in a complete different manner than she did. *** If you have a choice choose a different Dr. Or you will leave this office upset. **The other staff members however were amazing, one even apologized for her. Which makes me think having upset patients is pretty common also understandable after reading reviews.

Listen carefully

She is horrible to her patients very rude and doesnt listen to what were trying to tell her. Refuses to book an appointment but yells at you when you go to the er or to urgent care.. she is a horrible doctor

I found her through civil surgeon website and came there because I got an appointment easily. She didn't examine me and just said to come in 3 days to get my package . I was calling them for many times and they asked me to hold on then never come back. I went to their clinic and asked them how long I have to wait . The staff are so rude and didn't answer me . They kept saying that they don't know . It's a month now and my application is delayed .I am surprised that USCIS gave the authorization to be civil surgeon to this kind of irresponsible doctor. P.S I am a doctor immigrated to US. I need to report for being treated like this . Don't go to this place!!! Horrible experience!!

This doctor is a waste of time and a a shame to the name of doctors. Please do not waste your time and make an appointment at this office. You will only be disrespected. This "doctor" is very impolite and does not care about her patients.My mom went in for an appointment today and was getting her blood pressure checked and she happened to walk by. She began arguing with my mom stating that my mom did not have an appointment and she does not need a check up since the last time her reports didn't show anything;however, my mom had been recently experiencing pain in her stomach, therefore she wanted to get it checked out. She insulted my mom in front of the nurses and other patients. She was yelling and making rude comments and my mom was crying. She claimed that my mom did not need a check up and that next time she should just go to the ER and not her office if she needs a check up. Even in the examination room, she would not stop yelling at my mom and insulting and disrespecting her. She… was not listening to my mom about her problem. Doctors are able to console patients through their words and make them feel half way better just by doing that. They comfort their patients but she is a monster and will only do the exact opposite. Disrespect, insult, and only worsen the condition of a patient. It would not be a wise choice to go to this doctor for a check up an treatment. She does not even deserve one star.

Dr. Sandhu is really nice doctor. Office staff are so profetional, nice, and helpful

First of all, their appointment management is messed up. The lady we talked to over the phone forgot to put in our appointment in their system and denied ever talking to us. We had to pull up call records to prove that she spoke to us. Then we had to wait 75 mins to see the doctor.Next comes the doctor who is loud and does a very poor job at listening to what are your problems. Defeats the whole purpose of coming to see a doctor. She is very quick in advocating every possible lab work. Clearly she gets a cut from these labs (Quest Diagnostics and DRI at 79 Scripps Dr.). When I told her that my insurance may not cover for these tests and that I have high deductible, she struck off half the tests saying things like, "well this test will not tell you anything".. "this test is useless" ... "but get this one done because this is only $40".. "and get the MRI because that is what you really need". I was shocked beyond disbelief. She agreed that I need to see a neurologist but she won't… recommend me one during the same visit. Apparently she wants me to schedule another visit for that and pay consultation again. Really bad experience over all and would go to the extend of filing a complain against her.

I have to agree with all of the coments before mine, i didnt even get a chance to see the dr. the girl at the front desk was so rude and disrespectful i think they forget that thanks to us they have a job, i felt like they only want to help their own race, What a shame. I will never in my life return there. they dont deserve not even one star.
