Dr. Nasim Ahmad Rana, MD

This is the first time I have encountered an interaction with a Northshore doctor who was rude, curt and had no patience to answering any questions . I was seen during a walk-in appt., after experiencing excruciating pain in my leg. He gave me a brief exam, took x-rays, concluded that pain was from arthritis and didn't want to hear any more about other symptoms I had. When I asked him him what I can do about the pain- he said "hip surgery". I asked him about physical therapy, and he said there are plus and minuses, but wouldn't elaborate.I also had questions as to medications that were recommended- but he just told me to choose from a list and wouldn't discuss differences or preferences. Will be seeing another doctor for a second opinion on cause of pain and treatment.

I have never, in my 42 years, experienced such a terrible doctor. His bedside manner is non existent, he has no clue what he's talking about and is all around rude. I can't believe he is in practice, it is apparent he has no passion for medicine and has no idea what he is talking about, it's beyond me how he graduated from medical school and in practice, he should be ashamed of himself for being so awful to his patients.

Terrible bedside manner. Rude and condescending.
