Dr. Natalie Jean Malovich, PhD

Very professional, fair, and puts the children's best interest first.

Dr. Malovich was easily manipulated & deceived by my ex, lacked both objectivity & neutrality, & made recommendations contrary to the best interests of our children. The custody & parent-time schedule recommendations Dr. Malovich made to the court are in direct opposition to the data she was provided including a decade of documentation of my ex’s neglect & abuse of our children, my ex’s psychological testing results which indicated he has significant pathology, the input & recommendations of our first custody evaluator, & the input & recommendations of our children’s teachers, school staff, pediatrician, & dentist. Instead, she based her recommendations to the court on false claims my ex made to her which lacked any supporting documentation or third-party verification & on erroneous conclusions she drew from his claims.

Only use her for your custody evaluator if you are mentally unstable and have a history of taking it out on your children - she will fear your mental state and think you should maintain a relationship with both parents to the extent that she will cater to the emotionally messed up one just to make sure they stay more stable. It won't matter what is actually best for the kids or which environment is better for the children. She was afraid that the mom would disown her own children if the father received 50/50 so she didn't give him 50/50 even though it was obvious his was the better environment and she stated the mom needed to seek counseling in dealing with her kids, but there is nothing there forcing her to do so and so she probably won't and nothing will change for them, but all Dr. Malovich was concerned with is caving to the mom out of fear she would disown her children because she had disowned two of her other children already. I guess we would have been better off just waiting… for her to disown the rest of them instead of paying for a custody battle that caved to the moms emotional instability.

Dr. Malovitch was assigned to us as a custody evaluator to provide a follow up evaluation for a very nasty divorce. There were a lot of false allegations made and the child in question (6-7 years old during the course of the evaluation) was being bullied and intimidated by one parent to say specific things. Dr. Malovitch was able to build rapport and trust with the child and was able to see through the false allegations as well as dig into the root of several issues with one of the parents. The report she presented to the court and the testimony she provided was essential to reversing the shoddy and poorly performed initial custody evaluation and allowed the child to be placed in the best home to meet her needs.
