Dr. Natalie Avery Wood Vogel, MD

From call to appointment it is minutes. Our daycare says Vogel's response time is exceptional. We agree. The professionalism and care is great. But it is always good to receive positive feedback from others who interact with pediatricians on a routine basis. It is even better when they are all overwhelmingly positive. Dr. Vogel and Chico Pediatrics has that same cache in this community. Dr. Vogel has been our pediatrian for our first born since he was born and we have been very pleased with our decision. Why? Well for starters, the response time for health issues is immediate. We kept hearing from our friends with other children that it was "unusual" for us to get an appointment within a day much less within single digit hours as we routinely receive from Chico Pediatrics. This may be a major function of the office staff (who are just plain great). But when our daycare tells us to tell Dr. Vogel that they are impressed with their response time, we knew something was up. My… wife is a social worker with children. We first heard about Chico Pediatrics and Dr. Vogel through them. People that work with kids and know about their needs and special needs all told us that Chico Pediatrics, Dr. Asarian and Dr. Vogel were the best. Being sceptical we had our visit before our son was born. Immediately we could see how warm and loving Dr. Vogel was towards our coming family. When our son was born Vogel was always supportive with our questions, concerns, and always providing information rather than pitching. Controversial questions such as circumcision, vaccination, treatment of illnesses, and many others were handled matter of factly and absent pitches that in the end made our decisions far more comforting and easy to make. This is not to say that Dr. Vogel doesn't have a personal opinion. We just got the facts and really feel like Chico Pediatrics is our family's advocate. I've always been told that with medical issues you are your only advocate. That isn't the case with Chico Pediatrics and Dr. Vogel. She's always been supportive of *us*. And being new parents that's all I could dream of in a pediatrician. We also like our daycare for the same reasons (4 our of 5 doctor's recommend.... 4 out of 5 CPS workers also recommend....). But that's another story. We are very happy with Chico Pediatrics.

Dr. Vogel is a very kind and caring woman who truly cares for her patients and is easy to talk to. She uses terms that are easy to understand for those of us not in the medical profession. She's not looking at the clock, rushing you out the door. She takes the time to ask you questions and help you understand what your options are for your child's care. I highly recommend Dr. Vogel if you're looking for a doctor that isn't going to talk down to you and who takes the time to listen.

I went to Dr. Vogel as a high school student. I was extremely sick, and no one was offering me any answers as to why. Doctor Vogel, from the very beginning, took what I had to say seriously and worked tirelessly to find the answer. She called numerous specialists and eventually referred me to the hospital. Her service didn't stop there. She visited me in the hospital and talked to the doctors on staff. She was the best doctor that I have ever been to. I highly recommend her to all children. She is compassionate, intelligent, and a truly genuine doctor who cares about all of her patients.

Dr. Vogel is an excellent doctor. She always knew what my kids had right away. She is very friendly with the parents and playful with the kids. Definitely I would recommend her to all of you.

DR. VOGEL IS GREAT AT WAS SHE DOES. OUT OF MANY DOCTORS DR. VOGEL FOUND THAT MY SON HAD 2 HEART MURMURS ONE A NORMAL CLASSIC AND THE OTHER ENDED UP BRING A PDA (PATENT DUCTUS ARTERIOSUS).MY SON HAD TO HAVE A CATHERIZATION SURGERY TWICE AND NOW HAS TWO COILS IN HIS HEART. DR. VOGEL SENT US TO A SPECIALIST AS SOON AS SHE NEW SOMETHING COULD BE WRONG AND SHE MADE IT THE #1 PRIORITY TO GET US IN ASAP. MY SON ALSO HAD TO HAVE TUBES PLACED IN HIS EARS TWICE AND ALSO HAD AN INGUNIAL HERNIA. DR.VOGAL STAYED IN CONTACT WITH ALL THE SPECIALIST REGARDING MY SON SHE ALWAYS NEW WHAT WAS GOING ON A NEW PROCEDURE A NEW MEDICINE...SHE NEW IT. I WOULD ALSO GET A CALL FROM DR. VOGEL HERSELF REGARDING ANY THING THAT HAD TO DO WITH MY SON. I HARDLY EVER SPOKE TO THE NURSE IT WAS ALWAYS DR. VOGEL TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS I HAD. DR.VOGEL IS A GREAT DOCTOR AND MY FAMILY AND I WERE VERY SAD TO SEE HER MOVE AWAY, BUT AT LEAST SHE HAS HELPED ME AND MY FAMILY NOW SHE CAN HELP SOMEONE ELSE IN NEED.… NATALIE VOGEL IS A GREAT DOCTOR VERY RESPECTFUL AND SWEET AND TREATS EACH CASE CLOSE TO HEART.
