Dr. Natan Bar-Chama

I was very impressed with Dr Bar-Chama. He made us feel at ease, took his time to make sure we understand all options given our circumstance and had great bed-side manner.

the absolute worst I have ever seen. his entire staff should be dismissed - he has no idea how to practice medicine. in short, they completely ignore you.

I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. Don't be fouled by all the "awards" he supposedly received. I have been to many urologist and I chose him because my wife was already receiving treatment at the facility that he's affiliated with. He will never get back to you and he communicates through his nurses. They are disorganized and you have to hound them to get any information. My gut feeling was not to go with him due to all the horrible reviews about him. We had 2 SUCCESSFUL surgeries with another urologist and 1 UNsuccessful with Dr. Bar Chama. My advice is to listen to the reviews and stay away. If you have male factor infertility requiring surgery, this is NOT YOUR DOCTOR. They do not have the technology or equipment necessary to perform surgeries related to male factor infertility.

Upon having a semen analysis done by Dr. Bar-charma I get the results back two weeks later by his nurse over the phone with pretty bad news! why is a nurse giving me bad news over the phone how inconsiderate and then nothing else just these were your results I have no idea what else to tell you bye! Then we schedule a phone conference with Dr. Bar-charma we asked him what are our next steps his barely acted like he had heard our question he was inattentive, distracted and sounded as if we were wasting his time! When we snapped and asked him to properly explain the diagnoses he shouted these are your results I don't know what I can do for you!!! Disgusting your a doctor and you just gave us shocking news and you have no way to help us or tell us any next steps. We will be finding another doctor ASAP.. If I could leave negative stars I would

Please AVOID this doctor!!! For a person who "specializes" in men's health issues that can be stressful & even embarrassing, Dr. Bar Chama is insensitive, rude, dismissive & quite frankly unprofessional!! On top of all of this, your business is not handled with discretion as the receptionist discusses your business right in the open for all to hear. Completely unacceptable.

THE WORST

He spent about 5 minutes with me and didn't ask any questions about my medical history. He really doesn't seem to care, one wonders why he became a doctor.

I had a vasectomy with Dr Bar-Chama. Was very clear about procedure and accommodating to my tight travel schedule. Thorough and courteous. I experienced zero issues related to the procedure and did not even have to take any pain medication. Dr Bar-Chama did a great job and I would recommend him to everyone looking to get a vasectomy.

I had an horrible experience with Dr. Bar Chama and his attitude surely doesn't help. I definitely don't recommend him to anyone.

If you're a man going to see a doctor about fertility issues, it's a sensitive issue. You'd think the doctor would be prepared to have some reasonable measure of patience and compassion. My husband went to see Dr. Bar-Chama and was totally unimpressed. He was impatient, didn't seem to have the time or willingness to answer my husband's questions (which were totally reasonable), and frankly had an imperious attitude that was uncalled for. He treated my husband like he was an idiot, and he is not. We switched to a physician at a different practice and it was a much better experience. Dr. Bar-Chama may (?) be a good clinician but frankly, he seemed like a jerk. No thanks.
