Dr. Bir is very understanding and caring about my issues.

I actually recommend that Dr. Bir and her staff be utilized as examples of how a doctor and staff should treat their patients. They were never condescending, impatient, discriminating, agist, racist or self centered with a God complex. Wonderful examples of how doctors and their staffs should treat a patient. Dignity Health would do well to commend Dr. Bir and her staff and use them as examples for other Dignity Health departments' doctors and staff.

This is one of the nicest people I've ever met. WHen I was sick and needed an emergency operation she explained everything in a way I could understand and made sure my family understood as well. She was with me every step of the way. I was out of the hospital in just 3 days when the nurses tell me usually it takes over a week. She's amazingly smart and has a ton of fancy degrees but you'd never know when you talk to her, she's warm and humble and just really really kind. God bless her, I owe my life to her.

She spent a lot of time explaining my options and let me decide how to proceed. The surgery went great and I was home in a few hours and recovered well.

She spent a lot of time explaining surgery and my options. She removed my colon cancer with really small incisions and I was home two days later! An excellent experience and I am now cancer free!
