Dr. Natasha Lin Burgert, MD

Dr. Natasha is a very smart doctor who offers good advice on her social media, but in person she is lacking. Our baby was crying and Dr. Natasha seemed uncomfortable like she had never seen or calmed an upset baby before. She was very rushed and short. I think this doctor also has an issue of being judgmental with parents who don't agree 110% with her own personal lifestyle, views, or recommendations. The office she works in is great, but I would recommend seeing a different doctor.

Dr. Burgert has a public Instagram where people can ask questions. I asked her very nicely (I have screenshot proof) why she recommends the HepB vaccine to newborns when born to mothers who are HepB negative (screened during pregnancy). HepB is an STD spread through sex and needles and the vaccine wanes after 10 years so at age 10-12 when kids need it most it is no longer effective. HepB Vaccine also contains glyphosate found in the recent roundup jury trial to cause cancer. I said all this and asked why she recommends it to babies at birth, 2 months and 4 months - I honestly want to hear why pediatricians specifically advocate for that vaccine in particular. I was immediately blocked on Instagram by her. I was shocked - as a concerned parent she should have intelligently responded to my question instead of blocking me. Doctors are supposed to educate - blocking me shows what kind of doctor she is. If I lived in the Kansas City area I would NEVER take my child to see a pediatrician… like Dr. Burgert who couldn't ask my very reasonable question above.

Dr. Natasha gave me false results and dismissed our physician-patient relationship due to different views. She was extremely rude rushed when we were in a room with her.

Dr. Natasha has been our first doctor for our son Reece. She has been wonderful for us. She has led us through decisions that we were unsure of given this is our first child. She listens to us about his development and provides suggestions and tips to use along the way. Wondeful bedside manner, which is definitely important when caring for children.

My daughter is 9 months. So far, so good! I really like this doctor, and pediatric associates as a whole. The doctors are very good there I've met several people in the medical profession who take their children there. They have a well waiting room, a sick waiting room, teen waiting room, 24 hour on call doctors, weekend and night hours. I usually have loads of questions and they are very respectful and patient with me. I also feel like I can tell Dr. Natasha anything without her passing judgment. She has proven to be very warm and professional. Dr. Natasha is practical and wouldn't give treatment that wasn't really needed. This is very important to me, as I have seen this done a few times with the children of my friends and family. Pediatric Associates doctors have tons of experience and most of the Doctors have been there for at least a decade or two or more which is reassuring to me. The nurses are very kind too. They are very helpful when I call with medical questions. Once there… was a mix up on the billing due to change of insurance, I thought to myself "oh great here we go". That wasn't the case, it was a huge bill the woman who handles billing had it cleared up by the end of the day no problem. They came highly recommended by several people I've met and I am obviously happy with Dr. Natasha and Pediatric Associates.
