Sharing my experience to caution others. My experience with Dr. Roper was characterized by significant lapses in both clinical competence and professional ethics. My primary concerns are as follows: ?- Privacy & HIPAA Concerns: On multiple occasions, the provider took sessions in public spaces without using headphones. I could clearly see and hear others moving in the background, and there was no assurance that my private, confidential medical information was protected from being overheard. ?- Lack of Clinical Engagement: The provider frequently interrupts while you're speaking, preventing a full discussion of my circumstances. Sessions were often filled with generic, 'Hallmark-style' platitudes that lacked any understanding of my specific context, rather than actionable clinical guidance. ?-Poor Billing Practices: I have been billed for a full session even when the clinical need did not warrant the full time allotted. -?Dismissive of Patient History: The provider demonstrated a… recurring pattern of ignoring my treatment history, particularly regarding medication side effects. Rather than collaborating on a treatment plan, the approach felt reluctant and unsupportive. ? As a patient, you deserve a provider who treats your privacy as a priority and offers tailored, professional support. This provider failed to meet even the most basic standards of clinical care.
