Dr. Nathan Boles, DO

Dr. Boles is amazing! Definitely glad he accepted me as a new patient. However I do not like the facility he's located in. Needs stairs. I hate elevators.

I really like Dr boles but his staff does not do their job. I have called multiple times trying to get my medication straightened out so I can receive it from my pharmacy. They have done absolutely nothing. No return phone call nothing! I also requested a medication be called to my pharmacy for flu symptoms. They never called me or the pharmacy. Staff is horrible. I will be finding a new doctor with a staff that actually does their job. So sad because Dr boles is actually a great doctor.

This so called doctor is HORRIBLE!! He told me my husband had a zero chance of survival with an infection he has on his brain...he told me it was pretty much a waste of time to do a craniotomy! He is not GOD! My husband had his surgery and knows who I am again...he is still in bad shape but he is ALIVE!! This Dr. Doom needs to find a new profession!

When it was time for my discharge at Memorial I felt that Dr Boles was being a little too intrusive into my family life. Maybe that’s his job but on several occasions he started verbally attacking me which ended up in a heated exchange

This has honestly got to be the most rudest and heartless doctor I have ever dealt with in my entire life! After waiting weeks in the hospital to get a final diagnosis on my dad,he tells us for the first time OVER the phone that my dad has stage 4 colon cancer ! I see him again the next day and he then repeats what he had already mention on the phone (my daddy has 4 cancer and the only and best thing I can possibly do is bring him home and let him die in comfort with hospice . The very next day the oncologist (the one who specializes in my dads condition calls me and says that she would like to hold off on hospice ..that she really feels like we can get this mess turned around and actually help my daddy. Yes we have someone that actually has some faith !!! Well then this morning "DR.BOLES calls me and tells me he understands that the cancer doctor thinks with some physical therapy and chemo we can help him but "the truth is she is feeding us false hope and he just don't see him… getting any better and basically all I'm doing is being in denial and sooner or later myself and the oncologist will realize he is right and we will see we will have no choice but to pull the trigger (his exact words) after telling him that I do not wish to hear anymore of his negativity and that he is simply NOT GOD ..he then goes on rambling to me asking me what am I going to do when they call me and tell me my dad is dead ? This man has beyond hurt me in so many ways . Not only is he inconsiderate and heart less he's so very rude! If all I have is my faith and a cancer expert telling me it's not over yet for my family ...why on earth would you ever tell someones daughter that they are pretty much stupid for ever thinking hes going to get better and I need to stop being so blind and give it up ?? Maybe the words of the angel oncologist and my faith are the only things keeping me going ?! Why purposely try to knock me down with your harsh and negative words! Why is he so bound on hospice ?? When I have another CANCER doctor telling me other wise ? How professional is it to sit and argue with a family member on the phone about how wrong she is and how wrong the oncologist is?! To make matters worse ..after I told him I was finished talking to him and no longer wished to speak with him again ..he has hospice call me right after !! I know this ..because the lady told me the reason she was calling ! As to throw salt in my open wound ! I don't understand what this man who claims to be a dedicated, passionate doctor issue is ? But he definately needs more prayers than my daddy does ! It's almost like he gets off hurting people on purpose . Memorial you are way better than this ! Your nurses and staff are more than amazing! They make you feel like they are apart of your family too and make you feel they really do care for your loved ones . Unlike BOLES

You would be better getting medical advice from web md or a guy in an unmarked white van. I would not trust him to give water to a dog! Worst doctor ever

Dr. Boles, is you can call him that, was the worst doctor I have ever had. I looked at the clock and he spent 15 seconds in my room. He stepped in and said I had pneumonia, and stepped out. Sent me home the next day. My wife and I then went to New Orleans, where I was admitted to the icu. I requested my medical records and it states that he had examined me, but he did not at all. I am going to call medicare and report him as well. I was admitted in the past by dr. Northington. And he was a class act, don't think Nathan (I refuse to call him a doctor) represents Gulfport memorial at all. The nurses during my stay we're great and the rest of staff was wonderful as well. In fact, my nurses were my saving grace, and even instructed me in how to get to oschners in New Orleans. As according to them, as this embarrassment to the medical community does this on a regular basis.

I went to see Dr. Boles, and he showed up with no shoes nor glasses on. very scary!!!

Dr. Boles was the most amazing doctor I have ever met. He made a rare diagnosis in me one the 1st day, even though I have seen many specialists in the past for the same thing without any clue what was happening. He saved my life.
