I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received from Dr. Formaini and the entire staff at Upmc Harmaville Outpatient Hospital & Upmc St. Margaret in Aspinwall. I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Dr.Formaini took the time to listen to my concerns regarding my shoulder surgery and also demonstrated exceptional bedside manners, making me feel at ease and valued throughout the process. His partner Hedi was also exceptional in my care ensuring I felt I was in good quality hands. Their thoughtful, and compassionate approach truly set them apart. Additionally, I was impressed by the doctor’s forward-thinking approach to my care. I had a bit of an issue with anesthesia when I woke up. However, my team was proactive and quick in suggesting treatment options in a timely manner to ensure my condition remained stable. The staff including, doctors, nurses, aides, dietary, housekeeping, and transportation went beyond what you'd expect. They were always professional, friendly, and… quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The entire experience was smooth, efficient, and personalized. I highly recommend Dr. Nathan T. Dr. Formaini has operated on me and my husband. We are both extremely satisfied. He listens to your concerns and is truly interested in improving your quality of life. He never rushes you through your appointments and is very easy to talk to. I highly recommend him.

I had a shoulder replacement by a very reputable ortho surgeon in Natrona Heights. I went thru great pain with no relief for 6 months. This surgeon always seemed too busy to listen to my complaints and would not take any additional xrays to see if there was an issue with the new shoulder replacement. I ended up looking elsewhere for someone who could help me since I still could not lift my arm. My son told me about Dr. Formaini aka Dr. Nate who specializes in shoulders. When I met him, his smile and friendliness instantly made me feel at ease. The very first visit, he took xrays from different angles which showed my brand new shoulder replacement was dislocated and would never work. He scheduled surgery the following week and did a reverse shoulder conversion replacement, which he would have done in the first place due to my extensive arthritis. After surgery, I felt better. Two weeks later, I am able to lift my arm and the pain is minimal. Dr. Formaini takes xrays at every visit to… make sure the shoulder stays in place during the whole healing process. He is worth his weight in gold!!!! Oh, and the office staff is so caring and jovial just like him. If you have shoulder issues, Dr. Fromaini's your go to shoulder guy! Thanks again!!!
